I am disappointed. Given the price range and the fact that this is a 65w charger, I would expect to get superfast charging 2.0. My previous charger was 45w and supported superfast charging 2.0. This wasn't clear in the description, so I guess there was an assumption on my part. To clarify, I used a 100w cable which is recommended to achieve superfast charging 2.0. Unfortunately, I had no option but to return the charger.

Baseus 65w 3.0 PD car cigarette adaptor....Initially it Worked really well with my laptop, phone etc but after 9 months it stops working suddenly, for the money, it should last a little longer, if I bought a BMW,I wouldn't expect to receive a roller skate!! ³

I bought this originally for my wife's car but ended up buying 2 more. I got one for the wife's car for her Samsung S21 as it fast charges with PD technology and works great. I love that it shows the output. I bought another one to keep in my travel bag for my steam deck as it charges that as well and then picked up a third to keep in my car as a backup for passengers or for my second phone. I don't use it often in the car as I use wired android auto but having a backup is always a good idea. With the 50%off coupon it was a no brainer to purchase extras. Thinking of grabbing 4 more to have for the kids to fast charge their phones and tablets vs using the USB outlets in the rear seating area of my car and an extra to have in the wife's car so we can both charge our phones at the same time. They are surprisingly solidly built for having a reasonable price and the 2 20,000 mAh packs and the 30,000 mAh pack I bought for my Steam Deck travel bag has earned Baseus a dedicated lifelong customer. I am not one to buy anything aftermarket but after the reviews I figured I would give Baseus a chance. It is the first aftermarket company I have found that actually exceeds the quality of OEM.

Works exactly how I had hoped. Maxed out fast charging on either of my main devices. I fast charge my fold 3 with mobile hot spot, and full pd charge my steam deck while I play. Perfect setup for after work gaming for a bit. Hah.

It works well for phones/tablets but you should know a few things that are in the description and some that are not. 1. You won’t get 65W with 12v, you need a 24v electrical system which most cars don’t have. 2. The changing display information is kind of annoying, every 5 seconds it changes, I wish there was a way to manually flip through but there isn’t. This charger draws the most power when not in use out of 6 different types I have at home. The ones I have range from 0-15mA, this one uses 30mA just by being plugged in. Not an issue for cars that turn off the outlets when off, but my F150 that I rarely drive keeps them on, and this can slowly drain the battery.

Its small enough to add USB variety (with fast charge) to my old battery powerbrick with a car adapter, without causing an unsightly blob sticking out of it. The digital meter is informative and useful in relaying that old units charge state (if you are smart on voltage drop). It did not otherwise have any other means of telling me it was dead / low charge state. Worth the money for me as it saved me ALOT, having to buy a new fast charge unit with the right connectors.
