T-Fal Platinum Stainless Steel Fry Pan 12 Inch Induction Oven Safe up to 500F Cookware, Pots and Pans, Dishwasher Safe Silver

I've been a tramontina fan for years now. I've been using their 12" and 8" non-stick aluminum fry pans for general purpose use for ages and have most of the sauce pans and stock pots (all the way up to the VERY massive 24", which I use for huge batches of chicken or smoked turkey stock when I have enough bones). I recently switched to induction and gave away my 8- and 12-inch aluminum fry pans which had some life left still, and picked up the 12-inch T-fal steel fry pan on the new induction surface. It's a very flat, nice and thick and heavy bottom. Great ergonomics on the handle, great nonstick capability, heats evenly (tested with a temp probe) across the surface and VERY quickly with induction. Over all, VERY happy with it. I wrote a nearly identical review of the Tramontina 10-inch, and basically copied and pasted my review of the T-fal since my testing results, and therefore disposition, are nearly identical. :)

I have submitted a number of reviews for cookware. Have probably used 100 or more frying pans from cast-iron and carbon steel to Hex Clad, All Clad, Ninja never-stick, and MANY more. Of all non-stick I have used thus far, if I were to need to buy another full non-stick frying pan, this is the one I would choose. Well made, nice finish (both stainless and non-stick), nice handle, very very non-stick. It is heavier than aluminum non-stick (I guess obviously), but the weight serves the purpose of helping to maintain heat, and since it is stainless it works with induction which aluminum won't. Also, because the handle is metal, which is different from some of the lower end (although IMO still good) T-Fal cookware, it can go stove to oven (or just oven). 100% would recommend for non-stick frying pan, and a little cheaper than most high-end non-stick.

Heavy, and that's a GOOD thing. This was my last hurrah with nonstick and it's a *fine* skillet. It arrived with hairline scratches in the teflon. Eggs still slide around easy as you please, but those little scratches bother me more than they should.

I've only used my new Caraway 10.5" skillet a couple of times, but I believe it's much more stick-resistant than other, costlier non-stick skillets I've previously owned. I researched ratings before purchasing, and this skillet offered good value for the money.

As I moved to a new house with an induction cooktop, I had to get a new heavy-bottomed 12" skillet to replace the heavy-bottomed stainless steel one I had for 20 years that had too much nickel in the base. This pan fits the bill. It cooks evenly and holds heat very well. Cleanup is very easy. Any scorches you can just boil some water, scrape with a plastic turner or spatula and wipe clean.

This pan really surprised me with its weight and quality. This is not a lightweight pan, it has some heft to it, so if you are looking for a lightweight pan, this isn't it. The stainless steel is of good quality and the pan is durable and should last for a few good years of use. The only downside to this pan is that it has a shorter handle than I'd like, but that can also be a plus as it makes it easier to fit in the dishwasher.

This fry pan is the best! We like T-fal and especially the really excellent coating on this one. Very well balance with a great handle. Oven safe makes it even better. It is not too heavy for older folks like us. I already had a glass lid that fits perfectly! You will not go wrong with this one! As usual, Prime sent it fast to our door. Thank you!

Realmente es bárbaro, es un poco pesado pero denota su gran calidad. Calienta perfecto y nada se pega. Lo volvería a comprar sin dudas.
