Originally, my first attempt at spraying EVO, produced a direct stream of oil. I purchased this spray bottle to cut back on all the olive oil aerosol cans that I use. It sprayed water, as expected, however, the olive oil came out in a direct spray. In reading reviews, it seemed hit or miss with how well it would work. It's fairly priced for a sprayer. It seemed that the olive oil was too heavy, so I began with 1/2 water and 1/2 evo. I shook it and sprayed and it "misted". I gradually increased the oil and it's still misting. The brand of oil, which I use will only spray when lightened up with water. I like it so much, that I'm ordering a second one for canola oil. My recommendation is, if it's only producing a direct stream, is to experiment with adding water to your oil and shaking before spraying. I'm glad I did because I have no need for buying aerosol oil spray.

This squirts out the oil (which is better than dripped or pouring i supposed) but I was hoping for more of a mist or wide spray. This shoots out concentrated in one area. It reminds me almost like spraying the “I can’t believe it’s not butter” jars. Perhaps it’s because oil is so thick that it can’t spray out misty like that. But this still is better than over pouring and saturating your food.

Very nice quality and well-made oil sprayer. Easy to fill up, just unscrew the lid and pour in your oil. Screw the lid back on and turn the top to the on position when ready to use. Cleans out easily by hand or in the dishwasher and has an even distribution when cooking. Very nice price, highly recommend.

Very messy. Not worth the trouble of pouring it in the bottle

I really wanted to like this sprayer but when I spray the oil, it sprays all over the place and leaves a lot of splatter. I had to do some extra cleaning because of it. I placed my hand about 6 inches away from the spray part and when I sprayed the oil, I was getting a lot of oil on my hand and I looked on a couple of my small appliances on the kitchen counter and they were covered in over spray. Maybe this is a defective item IDK, but this thing isn't it in my opinion.

Cleaned prior to first use, which was difficult only due to the nature of the product. This was expected.Using this for olive oil, and it took a bit of use before the spray would come out as a mist. At first it was basically a stream of oil, but after a few uses it got better and now comes out as a mist.

Great for applying a light oil to brown meat in an air fryer
