High Quality Vanilla
I use these vanilla beans to make my own vanilla extract. These beans smell incredible and make the most delicious vanilla extract. I’ve also used them to make vanilla syrup for coffee. The beans are very strong so they do a great job of adding vanilla flavor.

Makes great vanilla extract
I used these and some inexpensive vodka to make some wonderful vanilla extract for Christmas gifts. I did let the beans sit for a little over one year. Flavor was lovely.

A vanilla lover!
I have been using these fresh for a year and I just bought the two other brands to make vanilla. The native vanilla beans have a slight smoky scent and the fit clean, have a fruity base scent. The vanilla bean kings just smell like vanilla. I would like to use the native vanilla for my next batch. To me they are favored for their scent above the other two.

Good vanilla
I make my own "vanilla extract" at home using vanilla beans and vodka (technically not legit vanilla extract, but tastes good so I don't care). Compared to some others I've used, these are great beans especially for the price. They came compacted/vacuum sealed, and when I cut the packaging open they expanded a bit and looked very fresh. They smell great - a bit more floral than I'm used to with Madagascar beans - and they each have a good amount of innards. These will definitely work for what I use them for and I'm quite happy with them. My only complaint is that a few came smaller/thinner than the rest, which is a bit annoying. I feel like I got 7 beans and three halves, rather than the ten that I paid for. So I'm docking one star for that, but considering the low price and the overall quality, I can still recommend these.

Excellent for Homemade Vanilla Extract
This was suggested by YouTube channel Little Hill Homestead for making Vanilla extract. Made two batches from one packet using Vodka for one and Jameson Irish Whiskey for the other. Taste great and very effective for homemade extract. Quantity and dollar value very fair for the quality!

Excellent quality, out of the 25 pods, maybe 2 were smaller and thinner, the rest were plump, soft pods that were easy to slice in half lengthways and add to a bottle of 40% alcohol (brandy in this instance, but have used vodka previously). A large outlay but left to mature for a few months results in a 70cl bottle of home made vanilla essence that will last a long time even for a keen baker. Quality vanilla pods are not cheap and to get these at 80p a pod is a real bargain. I've been making my own essence for years and it costs less than half the price of the quality brand name ones. The vanilla smell was lush even before I opened the pack, and as there was a sticky residue in the empty pack, I spooned in some caster sugar and shook/rubbed it into the residue resulting in a couple of ounces of vanilla sugar.

Bekomme davon entsetzliches Hautjucken.

Delightful, delicate scent from these B-grade, Tahitian beans. They are different from Madagascar kind, still very much vanilla, but without the heavy bourbony scent. They were vacuum-wrapped, plump, very nice beans. Fast delivery. Thank you! Made today, I cut the beans in half and split them down the middle before dropping them in the bottle to sit for 12 months to infinity. Retop the original vanilla beans with vodka as you use it up over the years to keep the cycle of extraction perpetual. Great present as it keeps on giving. (At the time of purchase, in May 2021, in Canada, these 25 vanilla beans made me seven-and-a-half 16-ounce bottles of vanilla extract for 150 dollars. If I had bought 7.5 bottles at Costco for almost $40 dollars a piece, it would have been 300 dollars, so it's a good savings to make your own. It cost: Vanilla beans, $49.99, two 1.75 litre bottles of vodka, $49.99 +49.99 = approx. $150 instead of 300. You might say, why on earth would anyone make this much vanilla extract? The truth is if you buy smaller quantities of beans and vodka in smaller sizes, half the amount costs you 33% more, and so it's better to just do this amount and basically never buy vanilla extract again. You can give a bottle to someone you love and save them the cost of vanilla extract in perpetuity, too. Vanilla beans are the bean seed pods from Orchids, which only flower one day per year and need to be carefully hand-pollenated, so it's great they can be reused because they so expensive. Also, my American friends can probably cut my total cost by another 3rd because American liquor is usually 1/3 to 1/2 less expensive that in Canada, ergo they can probably make this extract for 65%-75% savings rather than the Canadian 50% savings shown here.)
