It will be an upscale event so the team has come up with delicious food they know will be loved by all. All is going great until they meet the execs, especially the head lady. Turns out not to be a peaceful retreat with the amount of drinking and fighting going on. When one turns up dead accusations fly. Who was the person murdered? And why? Suspicions abound! The characters are great and described in detail. The mystery is well written. Some delicious recipes are also included. This is a great series! I love watching the characters grow and develop. I can't wait for the next book!

Just finished reading and always come away with a sense of calmness. Ellie weaves a terrific story with the feeling of family, friends and camaraderie. It is like a vacation to read her books. Yes, Murder is involved, but not gory and the cast of characters are such a delight to get to know. Never get get tired of this series.

A great read I speed through the pages to see what was around the river bend. The end got a little wordy and repetitive but overall a good book.
