The procedure is simple and it works!

This is so hard to use
Doesn’t colour evenly at all and it’s so hard to get it to blend it’s terrible. Totally ruined the chair.

Slow and easy
The instructions are very easy to follow. I bought probably more than I needed and I would suggest you use rubber gloves rather than the ones supplied. It took three coats to get a very deep colour. I discovered at the second coat that if you have ‘squashy’ leather you need to support it so that it dries without sticking as this pulls the colour off. This happened a few times so I stuffed areas with newspaper and only did one side so this adds to the time taken. I left plenty of time in between coats and took my time.I have taken a similar approach with the finishing coat and am still applying a couple of extra coats.Overall, I had a chair and footrest that was twenty plus years old and had been living with a colourful throw over it as it was looking very worn and stained. I don’t think I did a bad job, and it has given the chair a new lease of life. I have plenty of product left so with hindsight may have got a smaller size so worth my gamble of paying £67 to give a new lease of life to a favourite piece of furniture.
