Perfect for small dry messes
I like it that there is no brushes too clean. Cleans household dirt and hair very well. Quiet and not expensive. Works on low pile carpets, and hardwood floors. I do not use mapping, and I do remove small stuff off the floor before cleaning ( and move chairs out the way too). Saves a LOT of time

Prior model was awesome, this one is dismal
I owned this exact model, the A4S for several years. Mine finally bit the dust, so I replaced it with the “same” model I previously purchased. It’s a disaster. It gets hung up on rugs, and gets itself “stuck” in the weirdest places. I never had this problem with the previous iteration of this model. I released it several times from being stuck in the exact same place, and I swear it went right back there and got stuck again. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I left it alone to see if it would eventually figure it out, and it spent 30 minutes banging it’s head on the same spot without finding a way out, or even seeming to look for one.I really can’t speak to whether it cleans as well as the previous model because it spent so much time stuck in weird places or hung up on rugs that the earlier one navigated with ease.I’m so disappointed in this, wouldn’t keep it for free. I gave it multiple tries in various rooms of my home, and it was a problem in every single room. This one is definitely being returned.Edited to add: I should not that the current model is the A4S Max. It is not an upgrade to the A4S in performance.

So far it's fantastic!
I have a fairly small floor plan, but also have 3 active dogs. It's a challenge to keep everything clean - I was sweeping 3 times a day. So far the robot's been great, gets under my couch, pretty much everywhere that matters. It has a little trouble getting the hidden stuff - but when I cleaned all the nooks and crannies, the robot getting all the stuff out in the open has kept those clean too. Really simple installation and setup - I couldn't do the "leave a meter in every direction" thing in a house this small or it'd be in the middle of a room, but was able to just put it in a secluded area and it was able to figure out how to get out and do the job anyway. Overall I definitely recommend - a big reason I bought this is also because I didn't really want my floorplans being archived on amazon or google. I wanted something that worked off wifi and my phone, and that's it. Love it, again! (hope they keep making parts for it too)

Good vacuum
The value for the money is good. It does as advertised. No issues. It's actually really good vacuum as long as you don't let it get in any wet spots

The best robot vacuum I have used.
The media could not be loaded. This is my second iLife vacuum and it does an excellent job. I have tried 2 different brands that were more expensive but the iLife isthe best, by far ! It’s quieter, more efficient and the battery lasts longer. It has done a great job mapping my house, which did not go as well with the other brands. Also, I have a dog that sheds year round and this vacuum gets up all the hair ! The dust bin is a better design and easier to clean than the others. I definitely recommend this product.

I had high hopes...
I have the V9e vacuum from the same company that works really well everywhere except on the carpet so I was excited to see this one pop up because most of my place is carpet (yuck). This model does have great suction and works great on the carpet but I have a few things that are likely to make me return this one...1.) The app functions are not the same as the other vacuum. There is a water function (??) and you cannot control the pattern which leads to #2...2.) The vacuum seems to have absolutely no idea what it is doing. It gets stuck a lot, goes over the same spots repeatedly, and totally misses other places by a long shot. I really liked being able to select the "S cleaning" function for the V9e as it covered the entire downstairs really well. The remote controlling is wonky and it actually starts going backward instead of forward after a minute or two.3.) The dust bin design is pretty awful. While the suction is pretty great, the dirt and debris doesn't actually get into the bin because the opening is wide and narrow. Things (like clumps of pet hair) get stuck right before making it into the bin and it backs the whole vacuum up. It also gets stuck to the filter if it does make it beyond the opening. When I go to empty the bin it all just falls onto the floor so the vacuum is essentially just bringing me the dirt it finds around the house for me to clean up myself. I like the dust bin size and design of the V9e model MUCH better. The bin lifts out and a little button on the side releases the bottom to dump the mess in the trash. Super easy and mess-free.4.) It has a low profile so it can get under my couches (yay) but it's so low it can't seem to get onto area rugs and the fatigue mat in the kitchen. It gets stuck and frustrated so I have to "rescue" it...5.) Not a huge deal, but it is really nice that the cleaning tool was stored right inside the V9e so everything was in one place. This model does not have on board storage so, being a pretty unorganized mess of a person, I have to go find the tool when I need it.6.) It tries to go back to the charger after less than 30min before it has even done half the downstairs. The battery isn't dead when it does this.. This might be why this new model was actually less expensive than the one that doesn't quite clean my carpets but is great in every other way. I'm going to give this one another couple of tries to see if it might just need to "learn" the layout of the house but if that doesn't improve it's going bye bye.

Effortless Cleaning at Its Finest
The media could not be loaded. I've been using the ILIFE A4s Max Robot Vacuum Cleaner for over a year, and it has been a game-changer for me. This little robot is a true workhorse, effortlessly keeping my floors clean and tidy. Its efficient cleaning performance and long-lasting battery have significantly improved my daily life, and I can't imagine living without it. Additionally, I appreciate that it keeps my dog occupied for an hour or so a couple of times a week. Highly recommended!

Worked Well For Two Weeks
First two weeks this robot was fine. After that not so much. It randomly gets stuck on anything from a threshold to getting stuck under chairs where it cannot find it’s way out. Also it is not picking up dirt well and shuts off at will. You can forget having it find it’s way home when the battery is low. Never would do that from day one. You have to search for it to recharge it. Charges last about 15 minutes.
