TAZO Regenerative Organic Darjeeling Tea Bags, 16 Count(Pack of 6)

Tried other Darjeeling brands in tea bags and liked this the best.Tazo may not be making any more so I switched to loose leaf to get the same flavor.

Love love love this tea. If you like the Starbucks ice tea, I think you will like this too.

This is a great tea! I have not found one since pandemic that satisfies. I do not have time to always use loose tea.

Shame on Tazo. Tea bags tear and the ground up leaves leak into the water. Taste? Dargeeling nonexistent; not sure how they can label at such. I will not buy it again, sadly as I like my morning cuppa Darjeeling.

So Darjeeling is supposed to be the “rolls Royce of black teas”. It’s quite smooth and clean and more amber than brown. Compared to the lion of Tazo’s other breakfast black tea, awake, it’s a kitten. It still does the morning tea job of perking you up. This is a pretty good value, especially if you live where the stores don’t carry this variety. Six boxes goes a long way.

I have mixed feelings about TAZO teas in that sometimes they are good, and other times they are lackluster, but on average, well they are average and decent. For this organic Darjeeling tea, I would say that it is good tasting tea, but for a Darjeeling, it is a little off the mark from what I’ve come to expect from other teas of this type.The packaging is about what you’d expect from an individually wrapped bagged tea. Each tea back has a string on it and is in a standard paper wrapper. There are 16 tea bags per box and then 6 boxes in a larger box. I almost wish that they would save on packaging and have a simpler bulk package that used less materials. Either way, this is pretty standard packaging for tea bags that has been this way for many years.This particular tea is an organic Darjeeling tea. Like many other good teas, it can be steeped more than once and I found that I was getting about two good steeps out of a single bag. The tea is forgiving on the steep in that you can use a hotter or cooler temperature water, or longer times, and you will not be punished with ill tasting tea.This tea has the basic characteristics of a Darjeeling, but it is more mild/mellow and has other softer and sweeter qualities that remind me of a gentler English breakfast or Ceylon tea. The usual smokey/earthy robust flavors that are usually in a Darjeeling are much more mild, but still present in this tea. The aroma matches the flavor and overall gives this tea a more soft and balanced profile that isn’t quite Darjeeling by expectation. So while not meeting my expectations for a Darjeeling explicitly, it is still a well balanced and enjoyable tea.Overall, this is a good tea and I would drink it again. It isn’t quite what I expected of a Darjeeling, but it is still good and one that I can enjoy time and time again. I expect that being a large brand, the quality and consistency of this tea between batches will be good. If you are looking for a milder Darjeeling tea that has softer and sweeter notes to it, then this would be worth a try.

I have only drank Lipton tea for 30 years and wanted an organic black tea. This is so good. It’s delicious and hits the spot anytime you drink it. I highly recommend it.

The majority of the tea bags were fine but at least one full box was unusable as the bags were not sealed properly and given the price it was disappointing.
