So fun! My daughter loves gadgets and creativity, this was a order gift.
I would recommend this for the kids who like to create or fidget. I bought it for my 12 yo and my 13 yo said she wanted one too+

Pretty colors, nice sensory toy
My daughter picked out this sensory pen for the color, but she's a bit sad that there aren't as many pieces as the set her sister got - which I didn't notice during the purchase process, totally my fault. This is a smaller set than others that are advertised, but that does not stop her from enjoying the creative play that comes from a magnetic pen. She definitely likes to play use the pen to play with, but mentioned that it's a little heavy for her when writing. This would make a great gift.Review for LARAH Colour Fidget Pen Magnetic Toy, Sensory Tool EDC Fidgeting Game for Kids and Adults, Cool Gadget Best for Stress and Anxiety Relief and Kill Time (Colour)LARAH Colour Fidget Pen Magnetic Toy, Sensory Tool EDC Fidgeting Game for Kids and Adults, Cool Gadget Best for Stress and Anxiety Relief and Kill Time (Colour)

It's Okay; Has Fewer Pieces Than Similar Sets
I have a son and grandson who love to play with Geomag, and almost any magnets really, so I thought they might like this. They both fiddled around with it for about 5 minutes, then declared it kind of dumb because there weren't enough pieces to do much with, the pieces were too small, and the pen was too fragile to be practical. (I have three sets of these here and they still didn't think it was enough pieces when combined.) To be fair, we are not a family of fidgeters and it sounds like those who do fidget might benefit from this, so YMMV. Unless you can keep it in your desk, though, I would think carrying the whole set around would be awkward.Quality varied. The balls have pits and scratches. The magnetic parts look okay and seem decently strong. We will probably use those as fridge magnets. The balls aren't magnetic so they will possibly end up in a marble run. We have three sets of these here from different brands. They probably came out of the same factory since they all look to be the same quality with identical boxes, so shop around for the best price. The other boxes were fine, but this set had a box with a long piece of tape to keep it closed, and a product sticker slapped on top. The tape would not come off without tearing the paper off the box. It was hard to get the pieces out of the box too. And while the pieces all look the same as those in our other sets, this set has far fewer pieces.Update: The grandson got a new laptop with a touch sensitive screen. When he remembered that these sets had stylus tips he pulled them out and starting designing his own stylus. He seems to be having fun doing that, so I'm adding a star to my rating.

So much fun!
These fidget pens are so much fun!The entire pen is a series of magnets that can be pulled apart. They come with magnet end pieces, as well as magnet stylus-end pieces. There are two types of stylus tips.It also has two large, two small, and 8 medium size balls. The balls are not magnetic on their own…they do not stick to one another. However, if you put any of the magnetic pen pieces against a ball, it can then pick up other balls. You can use the balls as “joints” as you build things with the pen magnets. You can also flip a magnet and use the opposite polarity to launch magnets off your pen barrel.Speaking of barrels, you get extra ones, so when you run out of ink, you can simply replace with a full barrel. These are great fun, and make a great gift!

Silly, but fun. And the pen works!
I'm not really going to use this set for a whole lot of writing, but it's fun to play with. The tube parts are the magnets, but the balls are not, so you have to use the tube parts to play. The magnets are *very* strong. You don't need the balls to be magnetic. It's fun. I like toys!
