Finally One Thats Bright Enough!!!!
I use this in a DSDplus FL portable setup and needed a screen to hook to the computer that was in the back of the car so I could hang it up front to see it. I bought one of those raspberry pi screens thats about the same size before I got this one. The old one was too bright at night and way too dim in the day... This one is perfect! Especially since you can adjust the brightness, it gets plenty dark and plenty bright! The brightness adjust works fine from about 25 to 75. When you go over 75 you may have to adjust some of the other settings as well as if you go under 25 but itโs definitely dim enough for night and bright enough in almost direct sunlight in the car up by the dash The speakers work fine up to about 70-80 then after that they start distorting but pretty good quality nonetheless! The stands screw wouldnโt go in, guessing it was too big for the stand but I didnโt need the stand but if you needed it maybe could get the right size screw? The picture quality is great also! My last small screens colors were all off a bit but this one is crystal clear and the colors are on point!

7" Screen Highly Succesptable to Burn-in BUT the 10" Screen is Nice, Recommended for Retro Gaming!
rating bumped from a 2 to a 4: 7" screen burns in incredibly quickly, seller/manufacturer reached out post review and offered to provide a replacement. They sent out their 10" model and from a retro gaming perspective I like it! Preface - I tested both monitors with an original SNES and its stock component cable. 4:3 display mode, color setting at 20, other settings adjusted as well but ymmv 10" screen - The bad - light bleed around the edges (caused by pressure) but this is easily fixed - loosen the screws on the back and trim/cut of the small clips that hold the frame together on the sides. There is no negative to doing this. The stock color setting is way to high, I recommend adjusting it to 30 or below. The Good - Clean and relatively sharp display, 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, OSD offers great picture and audio adjustment options. Stereo speakers, component, vga and hdmi hookups. Low latency making for a good retro gaming experience. I genuinely love this thing, it's good budget option for retro gaming. Original review of the 7" screen: I had originally purchased this to tinker around with a Raspberry pi. The pi was defective so now what? This thing has composite so I hooked up my SNES. Worked great until I discovered it doesn't take long at all for the image to burn in.... be conservative with your brightness and contrast settings if you get this TLDR - Get the "10 screen. It's roughly the same price and is better in almost every way.

Baby second monitor
This is a great purchase, worth every penny. It has great picture quality for the size. It was simple to set up and use. A very handy second monitor.

Great for command line interface via VGA
I have a Mini-PC running PFSense. My "custom" Mini-PC appliance only includes 4 ethernet ports, USB and VGA with no digital (HDMI) connections. Upgrading my own PFSense custom appliance to the latest build can occasionally be a pain and I find myself reinstalling PFSense rather than upgrading. That, I and I no longer have a monitor with VGA. This 7-inch monitor includes an analog input and is perfect for my application. I can attach VGA cable from Mini-PC to this 7-inch monitor, change to the analog input from the monitor interface and access the PFSense CLI. I rarely need to access the physical device like this, but my next upgrade (reinstall) to PFSense 2.7.2 is imminent. This monitor just makes it easy.

Beautiful, Well Made Little Monitor
Such a beautiful, well-made, cute little monitor. Iโve been attaching it via wireless HDMI to a robot powered by a Raspberry Pi 3B+. The stand is also well-made and fully adjustable. I highly recommend this for anyone in need of a portable monitor or a monitor that needs to be used in a small space ๐

Solid little monitor with great build for the price
This worked perfectly as a second screen for my setup. The build quality is sturdier than I expected, and the refresh rate is smooth enough for light video or console use. The setup was quick and easy to use right out of the box. The viewing angle is wide and clear, making it easy to glance at without constantly adjusting the screen. Iโve moved it around quite a bit, and itโs held up well. Good durability for something this compact.

This monitor has pros and cons
THE GOOD: This monitor has a nice look to it and picture quality is great. I tried it with a TV signal fed in on the AV, and also tried the HDMI port. Both deliver a sharp, good quality picture, with a wide viewing angle. The speaker is OK, and loud enough to watch TV comfortably at 3-4 feet. The sound is a little bit harsh, so I wouldn't use the internal speaker on an ongoing basis, although kids might not mind. And connectivity is good, with several ways to connect (HDMI, etc.). THE BAD: There's a lot of backlight bleeding around the edges of the screen, which is very obvious and distracting when the screen is black, or during a dark TV scene. The mounting screw holes are defective. The stand is assembled backwards. And, the instructions are nice looking, but almost useless, and actually wrong. I already have another monitor with the same exact stand, which is why I noticed that the stand is assembled backwards. The mounting screw holes are really bad. Two of the VESA mount holes work perfectly, but the other two have defective threads and I can't screw in the screws. SIDE NOTE: If you use the VESA mount, use short screws, or your screws will hit the circuit board. The mounting hole at the bottom of the unit is another interesting story. I think it's supposed to be 1/4"-20, the standard for US camera equipment. But no, it's sized and threaded for an M6 machine screw. An M6 screws into it properly, but a 1/4" does not go in at all, and that's because 1/4" = 6.35mm. Further, even though an M6 can screw into it, it's very crookedly threaded, so it would be useless even it was the correct 1/4". So, in general, all the mounting holes were made by someone with no skills for this. A funny feature of the instructions is that it says to screw the stand into the bottom mounting hole, but that's impossible because the stand screw is 1/4", so obviously can't go into the M6 hole. The stand is really intended to mate with the large slot on the back of the monitor, and it does this correctly. ANOTHER SIDE NOTE: The AV cable has yellow, white, and red connectors that at first look like video plus stereo audio. But no, yellow=AV1, white=AV2, red=audio, and it works fine. SUMMARY: I'm returning this monitor due to all the defects, but if you get one without those defects, it might work really well for you. It certainly has a nice picture, and video looks great on it, as long as it's a sunny scene and not a dark scene.

Good for servers
What with the ongoing apocalypse, my work in IT means I've had to bring a disgustingly noisy little bastard of a server home to do some lab work. With it next to my desk the fans made me feel like I was going insane, so it's been banished to a bedroom. Annoyingly I sometimes need to plug a screen into the little Jet engined noise maker, which meant lugging a monitor upstairs to it. No more. This little screen is perfect for just checking on the status of a server, or fiddling around with the BIOS or something. The picture quality is pretty decent, and the text is JUST big enough to read during a bootstrap. Make no mistake, if you plan to do actual work on a server, you'll want a bigger screen, but just for doing some basics, this little thing is great. It's nice and small/light too. I will probably start taking it with me if doing field work, once the world goes back to some form of normal. I'm quite impressed with this little thing, and I'm glad I didn't spend any more money.

Surprisingly Good
This little guy is very cheap and was purchased as an "extra" monitor for a professional theatre production. The screen is surprisingly clear and whilst it is NOT a professional item in any way.. this was easy to set up and is easily good enough to use as a non-calibrated reference monitor. ONE WARNING - the screw for the very flimsy stand is not a standard camera mount screw - it looks like it is - but it's not. LOL
