It's a precision part and needs other precision parts to work as designed
It's powerful. If improperly installed it can break and pull itself apart. My install got interfered with and snapped the head (plastic) off the shaft. I fabricated another and this time the interference caused the shaft to drive itself beyond the housing. I was able to reassemble it and it is currently working as desired. The unit is a decent value.

Disappointed twice
So disappointed! Bought 2 and both stopped working after two cycles. Don't buy this linear actuator. I won't buy any of their products after these showed themselves to be poorly made.

Great little actuator for the price.
I bought this to open and close my feed door for my spreader. This little actuator works great. Durable and light weight without taking away from quality. I will definitely buy more if I ever need to.

great little hobby actuator
Neat little actuator. I made a little remote-controlled lens cover, so I can change between a white light and red, while sitting in my garage listening to music and enjoying a pint (or many). If I need more light to work, I flick a switch and the actuator moves the red lens off of my LED panel light and tah-dah! White light over my bench!
