Great toilet seat!
Okay, so it's not wood. Get over it. This is a great toilet seat. Installation is easy and the seat is sturdy, comfortable, and easy to keep clean. I was surprised too when the seat was not wooden like in the description, but this is a great plastic toilet seat. I have bought several and changed out the ones in my house because I like this model so much.

Good quality
I'm absolutely horrible at putting even the simplest thing together. This was SOOOO easy that even I got it installed quickly. I have replaced one prior to this several years ago. That one has medal screens which I prefer over the plastic ones that come with this toilet seat. What made it stand out a little more was the detail of adding the plastic film to go between the ceramic and plastic things. It didn't slip a much when attaching which made it nice but the little nubs that go into the plastic weren't perfectly aligned but it seems to work.

Good quality and great price.
After trying several cheap feeling and/or flimsy seats I found this one. It fits my toilet well. Is well made and high quality. Very strong lid that I feel comfortable enough to sit on, and I'm a big guy. And looks great. The price was wonderful for the quality of this seat. The only down side would be it's not soft close. But I can live with that.

Good quality. Tabs don’t stay down though.
The little tabs that cover the plastic bolts do not go down. They stay up and will eventually break. It looks bad with the tabs sticking up in the air. I love everything else though. All plastic but sturdy. It’s a good price for the quality but if you want it to look right you may want to pass on this one. Only because of the plastic covers not staying down.

MIND BLOWING!
I have never been so happy about a toilet seat. Over the years I have searched for a toilet seat that doesn't stain . I have never found one, till now . I have two males in my home between my husband and son . They do not fine it in them to clean after themselves. So, I have to be right behind them to clean up the toilet seat. No matter how much I spent or what it was made of the toilet seat would stain . I would take the color off from scrubbing with a magic eraser. Just when I had given up hope I came across this one. All the reviews were positive so , still skeptical I gave it a go and purchased it. I am so glad I did NO STAINS!?!?! I Couldn't believe it. It's taking me years of searching and I finally found a stainless toilet seat. It is so easy to clean. My family is so happy they don't have to hear me yelling every time I go in after them. I want to add it is not made of wood . It is oblong and plastic but by no means looks cheap. I would recommend measuring your toilet. It is a definite two thumbs up in my home. 👍👍😁

Al Bundy Approved! Really tho, great universal replacement!
Great and easy replacements! I purchased two for two different brands and it worked for both perfectly on both. I was actually shocked at how sturdy these were compared to the other plastic ones they replaced, so glad I got these instead as they just feel less likely to wear out with better hinges and more comfortable due to having a core. Who would have known that even made a difference, but it does. So yeah, simply worked out great. Replaced an American Standard and a Mansfield brands, both adjusted well to the differences. Comes with all hardware and gasket even. So yeah, I am writing a toilet seat review..because this is serious business for anybody with a broken toilet seat!

Better bathroom
I hated the toilet in our master bathroom. The seat was all chipped up so it looked as if it was dirty or molding because of so much missing white paint. Additionally, the inside of the commode doesn’t get clean thanks to hard water! (just in case someone’s sharing the miracle solution for that!) Anyway, although it isn’t the fancy one I would of liked to get, it is a one hundred percent improvement. And it is everything I needed! (besides the rainbow colored animal painting on the lid, I still need that, but that can wait!) It is stable, does not slide back and forth. I have stood on it once, to get onto my vanity from there to change light bulbs, and it held my weight. I’m not telling you what my weight is, but I’m not some waif of a model, not even an instagram one, lol. In fact, it already may say what that is on my profile? But if not and to be fair, it’s over 150 and less than 200, just shy and to the right of the midpoint.

Wasn't that easy to install, instuructions different that video instructions
The first item in the instruction video is to attach a gaskets to the back side of the seat connection. the video shows someone snapping it on any then setting the seat on the toilet and drop the screw into the hole. My gaskets were not mentioned in the paper instruction I received. I followed the video and tried to snap mine in place. you can tell where they go, and the holes and pins lined up but they didn't stay attached so I had to hold them in place while I tried to set the seat onto the toilet. second disappointment is that the seat while flush with the front edge around the sides of the toilet and the screw holes lined up, it did not completely cover the toilet hole. You do have to look hard to see it when the lid is down. when the lid is up it is not noticeable. I decided to keep it, but I'm dubious of the quality based on the 2 items listed above.

Perfect fit on my very old low, elongated Crane toilet. Replaced an old, discoloured plastic version. This wood version is solid and doesn't have the "give" of plastic yet is very comfortable. We all feel well supported. Sturdy. Doesn't shift (it might with enough twisting and turning while seated, but in our family, we tend not to move around too much while we're focused on the job at hand). Perfect colour match (Crane white). Such an easy install. It actually took me longer to carefully (for fear of cracking them) pry open the hinge covers than to do the full install. That would be my only negative comment: the hinge covers are a softer plastic which felt like they could break off or crack easily if too much force was applied to open them, however, this issue would not stop me from buying again or from referral. With the seat well positioned and bolts tightened, I don't expect to need to play around with those hinge covers any time soon. Instructiions for the uninitiated were a bit sparse, but it's not rocket science. Nice feature to have the plastic/silicone(?) thin pads to place under the hinges. They probably go a long way towards keeping the seat in place. It's been in use for a few weeks now and we're still thrilled with it. I really mean thrilled - who knew? - and the old toilet looks brand new!

When we installed a new, larger toilet it came with a very flimsy plastic seat and lid, and my partner immediately missed the ability to sit on the closed lid without it collapsing or sliding to one side. This replacement is absolutely what we were looking for, and it meets the needs of both users in our house. I purchased an ivory coloured lid to coordinate with the walls and shower curtain but, to be honest, that was a silly choice as it simply draws attention to itself against the white porcelain of the new toilet unit. Not a problem, just a choice I would pay closer attention to next time.

If you are looking for a solution for a flaring toilet seat after installing a bidet, this is it. I had installed a Tushy bidet on my parents' one-piece French curve toilet, not having seen the warning that the bidet would not fit that toilet well. The result was that any weight placed on the seat would press down on the bidet, changing the angle and making the water spray in the wrong place. I saw a YouTube video that said the curved lip on the bottom of the toilet seat was causing this problem, so to get a flat-bottomed seat instead. Users on another source said that all wooden seats are flat, so I went for it. Installation was quick and easy and now the bidet works a treat.
