Fix Vs. Replace
We are entering a new era of fixing vs tossing and replacing. I am so glad I am now considering this more and more, and so glad this was available to make it easily doable. Just do a good job of measuring the gap and order the right size. Got it replaced in just a few minutes and this appears to be much stronger than the one that came with the bag.

Not perfect but it works
The handle plastic handle brackets on my luggage broke off on my most recent international trip. This replacement kit came with metal brackets which was a nice upgrade. However the screws that came with the kit were either too long to too short to accommodate my luggage thickness. Had to add a bunch of washers and some locking washers. But in the end I have a fixed handle. Good for a quick fix but not really a perfect replacement. Had to use the original handle because the handle in the kit was too rigid to install.

Item is not as described in dimension table
I followed the seller's dimension table but the item B007 received doesn't match it. The screw hole spacing was 0.75" and not 1.38" as advertised. No confidence in ordering a replacement will be correct. Moving on to a different seller.

I wish the quality was a little better, however it seems close to the OEM fittings that failed. It would be a great help if the on center dimension for the holes was given. They did not match the ones I was replacing

Life saver
I purchased a Ricardo Beverly Hills carry-on spinner which had a missing handle from a local thrift store. This handle was perfect (I took the time to measure the hole spacing and made sure it would match). The spinner then survived a long trip overseas and the handle worked like a champ, even after the suitcase was loaded with ~ 25lb of stuff. Worth the money!

Light and compact
Used it for light airmodel box. Simple and compact. Also, I really liked the sizing of this handle. Draw the line where you want it. Overall folded length is 8". Mark two points 1/4" from each end toward the center and another two 1 and 1/8". This would be your holes for mounting screws. Installation was quick and easy. I used Loctite on screws.
