These tongs far surpass the flimsy ones you find and are well worth the price. Easy to use for turning filets, bacon and other tasks. They lock easily and stay locked until you want to use them. You can lock them by just pushing against the top slide and a gentle tug unlocks them. I wish I'd had these ages ago.

They seem to be built quite well and I like the fact that they lock in the closed position. That saves a lot of space in the drawer.

I never realized how much I needed these tongs until I got them, and I use them all of the time. They are a wonderful replacement for my metal ones that are rusting and falling apart. I like the way you can hang them so they are very handy. They are also really pretty, and would make a good addition to a shower or housewarming gift.

These tongs are really cute and useful; but they are cheaply made. I am being extremely careful when opening and closing them for fear of breaking the piece that opens and closes them. The quality doesn't even come close to the Farberware tongs I have. I like the fact that they have silicone heads and aren't silicone coated metal heads; I had tongs that were silicone coated and the coating wore off around the edges and scratched my non-stick fry pan. If it wasn't for the poor quality I would give the tongs a 5 star rating.

These are great! They work well on non-stick pans and won't scratch. This was the only pair of spaghetti tongs I was able to find that are full size and sturdy. They're the best! I would hope that this company would sell the tongs separately... I'd like a second pair for use when serving big crowds.

Not everything you see that you would think would be silicone actually is, - The handles? Not silicone - The lock knob? Not silicone - The tongs? Silicone wrapped (internals are not silicone and melt under high heat from the inside out) Product description is misleading

These are great tongs and I think I have used them every day since we received them. They are very light weight but are very strong and have been very easy to use. My wife has arthritis in her hands and doesn't have much strength in them. She is able to use these easily because of the light weight. The long green ones were slightly bent when we received them, but I straightened it out with no visible damage to the tongs.
