Very good instant decaf coffee. Lower acidity than the normal brand I drink and still rather smooth to the palate. It appears to be fresh, and the freeze-dried method of processing is better than using chemicals to the mix to prepare instant coffee. It is more expensive than I expected on a per-cup basis, but it is good decaf coffee. I plan on purchasing some more in larger bottles to perhaps reduce the cost pre-cup the next time I get some. I like BRCC decaf a lot, but this is as good, perhaps somewhat better, but both are just fine with me. The Mount Hagen individual cup storage tubes are convenient to take along on trips and to the office for occasional breaks from regular caffeinated coffee. We have come a long way from the instant decaf of sixty years ago, which I have never really cared for. I do recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy a great cup of decaf instant coffee.

It’s so convenient to use. I like that it’s organic and a very good value when you buy the 8 boxes it’s under 35 cents a cup. I travel for work and I always take these with me. It’s sometimes difficult to find a good decaf on the road but no more. I’ve also been using these for iced coffee. Full flavor, great aroma and no jitters. Fantastic product!!

This is the best coffee I have ever had! Seems like an exaggeration, I know, but it truly isn't. My doctor recently put me on an anti-inflammatory diet that doesn't allow sugar and limits milk (I also can't have caffeine). My first thought was, "Well, I guess I just don't drink coffee anymore." Enter Mount Hagen to save the day. This tastes great with just a splash of milk. I usually hate the taste of black or sugarless coffee, but not only can I tolerate this, it actually tastes delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cup of decaf coffee!

I like that this coffee has a smooth flavor and it doesn’t have the bite at the back that some dripped coffees I’ve had have. Does not upset my stomach. And I like that it’s organic. I would have to say it’s a little weak for my pallet and I have to put 12 1 1/2 packs and an 8 ounce cup and if I do a 10 ounce cup I have to do two full packs. I will definitely be trying a darker roast from this brand when I finish this box.

This coffee was a gift to my sister who has always roasted and ground her own coffee. Each cup she brewed was fabulous. . Now instructed to drink decaf she was looking to replicate that same joyous morning cup. Her response to the receiving the Mount Hagen decaf - - “ You’re right- it’s really good. It has an interesting complexity and the mouth feel is similar to caffeinated coffee. It’s better than my decaff coffee beans.“

Good taste and value for the money. Like that it is organic and flavor is delicious with half &half. Easy to use and can take with you on the go.

Love this decaf coffee I read at company website it was CO 2 processed for decaffeination. Tastes great and it’s organic too.

I like coffee that tastes like coffee beans, not like emaciated grocery store brands from the Fifties. I’ve always thought Starbucks fresh coffee tastes “burnt” so I stopped going there in favor of “The Human Bean” in Phoenix. And after reading about the owner of Starbucks, I did this subjective taste test to try and find an instant I could live with to “instantly” move away from giving my money to Starbucks Via. In my comparison of five brands, I used one teaspoon of instant and ¾ cup of hot water in each brand, kept it just black, and tasted it hot. Next, I added one teaspoon of heavy cream and 10 drops of Sweet Leaf brand vanilla-flavored extract and tasted it hot. Then, I waited until it cooled to room temp and tasted it again. Here are my personal findings with 5 being “worst”: 5. Waka Decaf – Slightly sour and brackish, tastes “instant” and gets worse as it cools. An absolute “no.” (1 packet per 8-10 oz.) 4. Jacobs Espresso – Watery, thin, and so “smooth” as to be tasteless, and they have the nerve to call this “espresso”? (No English instructions I could find—I guess they didn’t think it was worth the bother—and they’re probably right.) 3. Mt. Hagen Espresso – Also too smooth and lacking in taste, but has a wee more grunt and flavour than Jacobs. (1 packet per cup—I assume they mean 8 oz.) 2. Café Bustelo Espresso – Definitely better than the others but still “middle of the road” when it comes to true bean flavour. At least it tastes like coffee, even when cool. 1. Via Decaf Italian – IF you mix as instructed (1 packet per 8 oz.), it's too strong and has a slightly burnt taste . However, you can make a perfect travel mug of coffee by adding 16-20 ounces of hot water instead and just one packet of this very robust, powerful instant that actually tastes brewed. You also get two times more coffee for the money, via Via, because the packet makes such strong coffee. My tastebuds have failed to escape the Starbucks czar with this test, so maybe I should give those Fifties store brands another go.

Highly recommend... handy sticks to keep in purse or pocket or gunny bag for the coffee occasion. Best instant coffee ever tasted... and its decaf. Now its not the best decaf, as punting pony stills #1, but if you don't have time to grind the beans, setup the drip this is a good substitute.

Superb rich taste of coffee and handy to carry

I received a box of this decaf coffee today. It smells great and the natural taste with no cream or sugar is so delicious. I would say, it's worth it and the individual packages keep it fresh.

Best decaf! Great for when Traveling.
