Quality product in really nice metal storage case

Had an ingrown toenail that wasn’t too bad, but painful enough to make me buy this 😂. It did an awesome job filing out the curve of the toenail that was growing into my skin and the pick part did a good job of cleaning out the callused skin caused by the toenail. Felt better after this. Some of the videos online over complicate the process of removing an ingrown toenail that isn’t very bad. I didn’t soak my foot or anything before doing this. I just made sure I pushed outward from the toenail when filing underneath it to make sure the shavings wasn’t going to be left behind and then cleaned out underneath the toenail with the pick and I was good to go. Now soaking the foot to make the toenail softer would have made it easier, but I didn’t bother to do that.

So glad I saw these and ordered them. The file part is as I expected any metal nail file to be - so my expectations were low. I do find that it is good for that first file, but I need my emery board or battery run filer to get the job done. But the main reason I purchased this was the other tool, which I am a little disappointed in. The lifters are much smaller than I thought the pictures showed. They will do what I need them to do, and they were easy to use, all things considered. I’m happy with my purchase and my first pedicure using them was much easier with them.

I work in a hospital and admit I made fun of people coming to ER for ingrown toenails- till I had one. So unbelievably painful and affected how I walked. I did buy a treatment at Wally World to soften the skin first for a good few days. Then I went into mini surgery with these tools. Was able to release the offender - so important to not trim nail too short like I did or it will just happen again. Sometimes I feel pressure in the same spot if I trim nails a bit too short but I just use the file one and I am good. I didn’t have to admit my self into ER but I will never make fun of anyone that gets these ingrown toenails again. It takes a bit of learning as well. Cause sometimes the offender is buried or has separated from main nail. It’s a clever tool to help you get to it. Worth every penny. P.S. please do go emergency room if signs of infection!
