It is very smooth on the lash so it doesn't look textured or clumpy at all. Feathers the lashes out beautifully and the brush is designed to contour to the eye. I always have mascara transfer throughout the day, but this one didn't, at all. Easy to apply, at a great price. I'm a makeup artist, and I'm very particular with drug store mascaras, but this one competes with my $40 favorites. I might even like it better than my favorite, so I guess this one is my favorite.

Does not leave under-eye smudges, even on hot humid days. But also washes of with just normal face soap. Affordable and the best mascara I've ever bought.

I personally didn’t over love this mascara. I found the bristles oddly shaped and difficult to maneuver around the edges of my eye lashes.

Elf,is my new go,to for makeup since it is toxic and cruelty free. Much cheaper than store bought brands. Goes,on easily and has a nice thick brush.

The claim: “The e.l.f. Big Mood Mega Volume & Lifting Mascara gives you that false lash vibe without smudging or flaking”. Ha, this mascara clumps, and when I use a lash comb to smooth out the clump, it creates all sorts of flaking in my eyes, and on my cheeks. Flakes on my eyeball with contacts is not good! I’ve never been so disappointed with an ELF product, I usually really like the brand. This stuff is junk.

Didn't really like the brush. Seems a little too thick. Using it but using another curled brush to apply. Been using Clinique but it is so pricey, trying to save money. I'll tolerate it.

Mascara is kind of thick and sticky. I have naturally long curly eyelashes and had to clean it off and use a different mascara

I love it. Love the brush the most. I like it in dark brown.

Good mascara

This mascara is good if you work lightly - as in, apply one thin coat, let it dry, apply another thin coat. I have found it to get veeeery clumpy if I don't adopt this method, as the product is quite thick and wet. The colour is also a very dark brown, almost black, when applied, as opposed to the mid/dark brown like I was expecting.

After years if buying some very expensive brands I wish I'd discovered this one sooner. This mascara doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or contact lenses and lasts the day. I'm liking the brown colour too. May get another in black fir a different look
