My youngest daughter can wear 2t but is growing into 3t. I decided to take the advice of those on here and size up. When I went to purchase, 5t wasn't available so I went with 6t. It is a little big. The shirt fits like a 4t and the pants are definitely more of a 5t. My oldest is 5t/6t and she can wear the pants no problem but the shirt was a little small for her. I would recommending sizing up by at least 2 sizes. 3 sizes was a little much for us but she will grow into it. I would rather it be too big than too small.
