Easy to install and very convenient
Great price and great utility. I love being able to open the F-250 tailgate and let it descend on its own. No more do I need to keep it from falling while also balancing items in my arms.The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, even though I didn’t pay attention and put the shock on upside down. It was easy enough to pop off the clips and reverse it. It fits as if Ford made it.For its low price, it was a “buy it on principle” thing.

Easy to install, works good, but
Easy to put on and works good. Don't use their torx wrench, get a T50 socket, you'll need the better grip and torque a ratchet provides to get the stud out. Only issue is if your tailgate has tie downs, you'll have to remove the one on the driver side or the gate won't close. No biggie, I wouldn't want to tie something down on the tailgate anyway.

Must have for manual tailgates. For what it costs, why this is not standard equipment on all trucks is ridiculous. Works exactly as it should and super easy to install.

Super easy install, nice slow descent, no more tailgate slam.Work so good until you let go of the work trucks tailgate and then realize, they dont have them like your truck haha.Got my dad a set for his F250 after he saw them on my F150.Great product.Highly recommend.

Really easy to install and works great! MyKids can now open the tailgate without it falling on them! If you are on the fence, go for it. Totally worth the $$
