The grip is not strong.

I needed a floor mat for my 7 foot round rug, and I had to decide between 6ft or 8 ft, the only options availabe. I made the right choice with this company and the size. The floor mat came folded and it was easy to put on top of my rug. I trimmed around the edges and I now have a perfect fit. The rug does not slip. There was no odor with the mat and the company is extremely responsive. I have not needed any help from them, but they make it very easy to contact them.

I would have to say, the product it self was made well. Did not have a strong smell to it. But I did not purchase this product to go under a rug. I bought it to be put over a garden kneeling pad for non slippage when using it. I have a handicap and need help in the bathroom getting on and off the toilet so I found a way to cushion my hand from pressing down on the sink. That was to cover a cut out piece of a garden kneeling pad. I have tried many products and it was time for another product. So I looked at under the rug pads. It was not grippy enough to hold my garden kneeling pad in place as other products have. I had cut this rug pad into smaller pieces. I kept the product and thought it might come in handy for some other product.

It did what is supposed to do. Placed under my new entry rugs, including a runner and it indeed stopped them from moving around. They are not super cushioning,the webbing is spread, (see pic) so if you need cushion for comfort this is not for you but if you just need it to stop the movement these work just fine.

Ordered this for a rug under my coffee table. Works perfectly.

Using this under a chair mat on a hardwood floor. The chair is an office chair with wheels and would leave fine marks on the floor so I placed a chair mat underneath. The mat is always shifting so you have to readjust it every few days.I wanted something that will not leave a sticky residue. Trimmed it to fit the mat layout, easily cuts with scissors.The pad is light, and feels like neoprene/rubber foam, same or similar material as kitchen drawer liners.You could use those but the pad has little rubber nodules with more space between each which helps with grip. Drawer liners are more tightly woven. The pad is also one big piece, where you would have to deal with multiple pieces of drawer liners to get the same coverage.Since the pad provides a cushioning effect, the chair does not roll as easily, minor resistance and a non-issue. After a while you barely notice it.The chair mat still shifts. I would say it's a 90% reduction in the amount of shift and how often it shifts. Overall, works well.

This under pad is great and is working well. I picked the wrong size rug for the pad well have to try again later, will continue to use the rug and pad for now.

I bought a very heavy, long pile rug to go on my freezing laminate. After a week of my children running and sliding across the floor on it or falling, I decided the good parent thing to do would be to buy a non slip pad... yes, it took me a week to come to this conclusion.It arrived quickly, and took about a minute to lay down and cut to size. My rug doesnt move an inch nowThe kids run up and down the living room, jump on and off the rug and even pull eachother across it (they're a little odd) and it's done its job.Really pleased, easy to use and does what its supposed to do. Would buy again, if I thought I needed to, I cant see this breaking any time soon

This left a sticky residue on the wood floor and took a very long time to remove. I would not buy again.

this stuff is great, I have used it for its main use but I've also used it as backing to pompom rugs

I have wooden floors and a few rugs. I also have a rather excitable 2 year old Belgian Shepard rescue dog!Previously I had a German Shepard for 13 years until he passed, for those years I had a different anti-slip mats below rugs which also worked well. Though the years they were less effective, but it didn't really matter as the dog had also calmed down.New boisterous pup has sent rugs and coffee tables flying for the last few months! I knew I needed to replace the anti-slip mats, but couldn't find the same type I had bought 14 years ago.Reluctantly, I bought ones which appeared to have the best reviews and WOW. I bought a size bitter than the rug so I could cut it to same size of a large rug and it is everything!30Kg Belgian Shepard can/and does sprint in and top speed and make a turn around the coffee table and neither the rug, the coffee table or the glass of wine on it moves!I am sure delivery varies - for me I ordered at 1 am, it was delevered at 11 am same day. Just normal Prime delivery - I seemed to hit it lucky that day. Amazing non the less.Hightly recommended, buy a size bigger than you need (not much extra), spend a few extra mintues cutting it and making sure the rug sits on it properly!

These things are quite sticky and easily hold our 3 x 2m rug very firmly on our wooden floor. If you scan the negative reviews on these products they are from people who have used them on top of carpets, so the overall scores are not fair or correct. Anything sticky is of course going to pick up fibres from carpet and aren't designed to work that way.If you want to stop rugs moving on hard floors these are great.
