I bought this to go over an easel to create a flannel board for preschoolers. It worked ok but it really would have been better with more grommets. The piece was wider than my easel so I had to create extra holes and add grommets to get it to hang flat. It would be neat if this were double-sided with a color on each side, ie green on one side and black on the other. I'd like to have more color versatility but I won't pay that much extra for a whole other piece.

Felt isn't "sticky" enough
By "sticky", I don't mean "tacky". Instead I mean that the felt is a bit "flat" and needs to be softer to get felt pieces to stick to it better.It is the perfect size and fits well on my easel though. Now I just need to soften up the felt a bit!

Not a flannel board
This is not a flannel board, it is a sheet of flannel with no solid board around it. Very deceiving description.

Got this for my nativity felt characters for advent. Didn’t hold the characters very well.
