A little goes a long way
I love my Restoration Hardware leather couch so much, that after five years of watching a lot of videos (COVID you know) and reading, my wife yelled at me that I was flattening the cushions in my spot and needed to NOT sit there so much. Like a good husband I listened to her complaint, and determined that her observation was correct but her solution was flawed; and so I figured out a better one: MORE DOWN AND FEATHER STUFFING! Then I secretly ordered 10 lbs of the 90/10 mix and when it arrived, I announced the improved couch cushion fixing plan - It's always easier to get her buy-in after I purchase the materials and announce I will fix it without her help. After watching many cushion restuffing videos, and reading many reviews, I realized that there was no way to avoid stray Feathers during the operation. So, I chose our little used tiled basement bathroom to contain the spillage from getting all over the house. In preparation, I removed all decorations, carpets, and towels, then swept and mopped the floor. All clean for the job. First, I took the padding from the insides of all six cushions and stacked them, and all the leather cushions they came from, outside and next to the bathroom door. I put the bag of Feathers inside, next to the toilet seat on which I sat to do the stuffing, and brought in one padding at a time. After doing one, I realized that the best way of doing it was grabbing a handful of feathers and then thrusting your closed hand down the inside baffles (cloth dividing walls dividing the Feathers into groups) and then open your hand when you had where it was needed. Do fine tuning with an open hand afterwards. Repeat until your Feathers fill up the pads. Let me say this part now. We all know that high quality brands like RH look great, and generally hold up really well. But I was shocked at how little the amount of actual down and feather stuffing surrounded the foam padded interior cores of the cushions. And in using about 5-6 lbs of feathers for the six cushions in my restuffing job, I estimate I doubled the amount of Feathers and down in each cushion. And as post stuffing relaxation shows, I did not overstuff or under stuff the cushions. So I would guess a pound of Feathers for each cushion is a good guide, more if your couch is not high quality. The Feathers and down itself are clean, don't smell, and didn't make me sneeze. Great quality with small quills making for a comfortable cushion. I do have about half the 10 lbs left, but put it in a closet for future restuffing of other furniture as needed. Because I isolated the stuffing operation, clean up was fairly easy. I did buy a new whisk broom and dust pan for clean up, as I didn't want to spoil the Feathers from the floor - and there were certainly a lot. Finally, beware that the upper cushion baffles had to be opened at the seem with a knife and resown afterwards. That was wifey's job because she didn't want me breaking her sowing machine.... a WIN for everyone. So, if considering fluffing up your furniture, these feathers are great. I chose 90 feather/ 10 down mix because my couch is leather and there is no possibility of Feathers poking out. If you have a fine cloth couch you may want to opt for a higher down percentage.

Wow! The BEST way to get the perfect pillow!
I am a side sleeper and find most pillows don't offer enough support. And nothing cradles and conforms like down/feathers. I removed all the synthetic poly fibers from one of my pillow cases (it already had a zippered opening which helped a lot). I stuffed it with these down/feathers. No, ... I REALLY stuffed it with a very generous amount of this down/feather stuffing. This product (5 lb bag) completely filled a queen size pillow and stuffed it well over what most (if any) pre filled pillows. It's the most awesome pillow I've ever owned, AND I still have about 20% of the down/feathers leftover (shown to the left off the pillow in the photos). If you want to try this, some tips: Don't try to just get "down" only. It's okay to have feathers as this product does. When it says feathers it doesn't mean the stiff outer feathers that most people think of. No, these are super soft silky feathers plus down. This stuff is really soft indeed! Keep in mind if you want pure down it will be more costly. This product is absolutely fine. Another tip: start with a fairly thick pillow shell not a cheap thin one. A thin pillow shell might allow the feathers to pole through. I started with a thicker than usual pillow shell. Alternately you could just put your finished pillow in two (nested) pillow cases. Final tip: there will be feathers everywhere when you stuff your own pillow. Get your vacuum cleaner ready and nearby before you start. Otherwise when you are done you'll leave this little trail of feathers through your house when you go to get the vacuum. This is a product that is totally worth it! I really do wish I had tried stuffing my own feather/down pillow years ago.

Worked perfectly to repair my expensive sofa
I have a Pottery Barn sectional and the pillows were losing their firmness as it is ten years old and heavily used. I cut a six inch hole in each pillow and used this down to restuff all the pillows (not cushions) and it worked perfectly. I then sewed up each hole and put the covers back on and you'd never know I did that. I could have used even more down, so I recommend buying way more than you think you need, if you are going for firmness... and also, this makes a mess, as you could imaging, so either do it outside or prepare to do heavy cleanup.

Quality is what I wanted.
This did work great to fill my feather chair back cushion. Only problem itโs very messy, with feathers flying everywhere. So I kept the rest of it in the bag and it worked great!

High quality feather/down stuffing.
I bought this to restuff the cushion of my grandmothers chaise lounge I had inherited and which I am restoring. The price is fair and the quality of the feather/down is quite nice. I bought 5lbs and used about 3lbs to fill the cushion perfectly. I will have enough filling to make a couple of throw pillows and like this filling well enough that I will buy another 5lbs to make king size pillows.

DONT BUY
Don't count on down. The advertisement is very misleading. It says 10/90 goose down feather blend. But NO down . I ALL feathers. I am using this for camping over and under-quilts. DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Good down, quick delivery
I used this down to refill seat cushions. I ordered new slip covers from original manufacturer. The chair is ten years old and had flattened quite a bit. After opening seams in cushion envelopes I stuffed with down. A tedious job but it came out great. Chair like new. Product was clean and nice. Of course there were feathers everywhere but that was an easy cleanup. And it came so quick!!

Duck down for the win
Order came quickly, and the down was great quality. I didn't weigh the bag to confirm it was the exact weight I ordered, but the bag was plenty big! For anyone buying a chair or pillow with shredded polyurethane foam, I added some down, and it made a huge difference in loft and comfort. Like a completely different product with the down.
