JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R - Nintendo Switch

Pre ordered this game when it first came out, felt worth it and still feels worth it. I love JoJo, I love fighting games, this was honestly perfect

Definitely a must-have for any Jojo fan!! Bought this to play with my son (16 at the time). It was a great surprise since we'd been watching the show religiously so it was a special thing for us, and we didnt even know there was a game! Neither of us are fans of fighting games - the last one I played was the original Streetfighter back in the early 90's, if that tells you anything. But this game is really fun! We hadn't even finished the series yet so there were characters we didnt know, and some of them are significantly better/worse than the rest - we quickly made an agreement that it was pointless to play as Iggy because he sucked, and I was not allowed to play as Cool Ice because his attacks were just so devastating I was kicking my son's ass constantly which he felt was unfair.. Then he spent half the summer mastering the Original Joseph Joestar and his MADDENING Clacker Balls attacks, and suddenly I was getting my butt handed to me no matter who I played. Still, made for an especially entertaining summer! Easy enough for newbies - you can win occasionally with button mashing, but really learning the moves can make a huge difference, and definitely makes it more fun. My only complaint is the locked characters - I didn't know there was Deluxe version of this that included them or I would've gotten that. The locked characters are behind a pay wall, and at the time we were actively playing it was like $5 PER character. That's ridiculous and disgusting. I paid $10 for the whole game, that sort of brazen extortion is the core of what is wrong with the gaming industry. But other than THAT, great game!

Very Fun Game

All JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans with access to a Nintendo Switch should buy this game. It has amazing graphics and gameplay. While there’s not entirely a story to play with, it’s a great outlet for an interest-related fighting game. It’s really fun to play with friends.

Super fun game. I have it on Xbox and now switch, this is actually my second copy as I lost the first one and needed a replacement as I play it so often. With how bad the MK1 remake ended up looking on switch, this is a great alternative fighting game. The multiplayer is super fun and there's enough solo content that I don't get bored with it even playing for hours at a time. The DLC is also fun, just adds new chafacters. I have Risotto and Abbacchio and am probably going to shell out the money for the others as well because learning the different play styles is so fun. I'm also slightly biased bc it has my favorite character Prosciutto playable.
