Outside of units approaching $2,000, this gun hits the hardest of any out there. The advertised torque numbers are way closer than any HF or other off brand variants. I use it very often at my heavy diesel equipment job. I have tried most of the others out there. Matco has nothing on this IR gun. Mac or Cornwell either. Aside from the Snap On or IR’s true industrial units weighing like, 25 pounds, this thing rules the shop.

Not really impressed. New, out of the box, the torque selector is installed wrong. Instead of pointing to 1 of the 4 positions, it's about 180⁰ off. Advertised torque of 2000 foot pounds? Not even close. After hammering down the nut, it must be final torqued to achieve the 920 ftLbs, using a calibrated hydraulic torque. The impact hammer hits like the forward/reverse selectors are not fully depressed even though they are. Not impressed with the quality control here at all.

I’m going on 3 years of daily use on tractor trailer wheels and this thing is still going strong. I do oil daily and grease once a week. I did have to take it apart and clean it all out and regrease the inside parts one time. The only complaint I have is the plastic forward/reverse buttons will pop out from time to time but they pop right back in. This is a strong impact.

I love this gun so far, it has more torque then ones that cost 3 times as much! I've broke bolts loose, that I couldn't do with a braker bar!

Absolutely horrible output, even worse tightening. Don’t waste the money. I read the reviews and gambled. I bought this for doing u bolts on semi’s because my older IR composite is getting tired. I was trying to get the older model in a TI but they don’t make anymore. Everything is switching to quiet model. This is my 3rd IR composite 3/4, it’s the worst. I just bought a 1/2” IR 2235 TI. Had them both on a yoke puller the 3/4 stopped. The 1/2” turned it. Unreal, I wish I could return. Still on the market for something tough. Might try aircat!

Compre esta pistola de 3/4 para apretar las tornillos que no pudiera mi pistola de impacto de batería 1/2 y puede más mi pistola de batería. Al final me toca apretar con la mano. Lo uso con un compresor de 100 litros, no se si tendrá algo que ver el compresor que es pequeño. Luego el marcador que te indica si se usa con más presión o menos, no se mueve del mínimo. Lo trabajo con 9 de bar y a ponerlo en marcha se pone en 6

Works as advertised. If ya don’t use the the right size airline and compressor it probably won’t work well lol. Only saying this because I did read a few negative reviews before I purchased this and figured that was the issue.

Fast shipping. Lots of torque. And is very quite for a gun that size.
