PCIe 2.5 LAN Quad Gigabit ethernet 10 100 1000 2500 1G 2.5G 4 RJ45 ports. With Realtek RTL8125 Chipset

I've tried this card and it works well, but it doesn't mount well into my Lenovo m720q so I had it to return. This card has RTL8125B as network chips and ASM1806 as a PCIe controller. The power consumption in an idle state is approx 5W. The average power consumption of the idle system with the i7-9700 CPU (tuned with the powertop utility) was 9-10W. After 2-3 hours of idle operation, the heatsink reached 50ºC, and the temperature didn't grow further. Here on Amazon, you can find other 4-port 2.5Gbe nics from Digitus and 10Gtek and they have the same chips and characteristics, except 10Gtek NIC which I found a bit less power-hungry compared to this one as it was drawing approx 4W in idle with 8-9W on average for the whole system. I recommend this card unless you wish to put it in tight conditions.

testé sur un fujitsu s920, la carte est un peu trop grande, mais bon, y'avait moyen de s'arrageropenwrt ne voit pas la carteet pour pfsense, les drivers realtek n'existent pas pour pfsense 2.6.0 (c'est un soucis recurrent d'utiliser des cartes realtek pour faire un routeur DIY)J'ai installé cette carte dans un pc sous ubuntu 22, elle est bien reconnue, avec tous ses ports, mais cela ne correspond pas à l'objectif de faire un routeur pfsense avec cette carte
