I have been using this knife for a little over 4 months now and it does everything I could want it to do. It cuts vegetables, meats, and fruit perfectly. I am a amateur chef, but having a good knife makes cooking a lot more fun. I highly recommend this knife to anyone who wants to get into cooking.Over those 4 months I have not sharpened or done any maintenance for the knife (aside for basic cleaning with soap and water) and it still cuts great. I intend to sharpen it in a few months to keep it at a sharp edge, but if you're not keen on knife maintenance or anything of that sort this will still be a great amateur knife.

This is a nice knife. It's very sharp and cuts thru meat and vegetables very easily. The handle has a great shape and is comfortable to hold. Just wash and dry it right after use, and don't throw it in a kitchen drawer with all your other utensils - protect that wonderful cutting edge.

This knife is amazing! The Japanese steel blade is incredibly sharp right out of the box and slices through everything effortlessly — from tomatoes to tough cuts of meat. It has a great balance and feels solid in the hand. Easily one of the best knives I’ve ever used in my kitchen!
