2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Liquid Cleanser (non-soap) Wash (4 Fl Oz Bottle)

I have use it every 2 days for the past 2 weeks, i have had a crazy dandruff for the past 3 years, enough to make me stop working out as often because of the itch and hair has been falling like crazy, enough to notice my scalp on top of my head, i use this on my hair with castile soap, i squeeze enough castile soap for my hair, then i add this product on top of it, mix it up with my hands and then immediately massage on my hair, i not longer have dead skin flakes like before, i dont wake up to crazy white flakes on my bed, i noticed my scalp still itches, im hoping this will at least give my scalp a break so it can regenerate and regrow hair, this product is something i would recommend so far as i have tried literally everything else and nothing has worked, i dont wish this to anyone, hope this product helpts you too. UPDATE:11•22•2025::This stuff still rocks, thank Father in heaven for having this product recommended to me, i barely have itch, mostly when i eat bad and only noticeable when i workout because of the heat, but i eat clean most of the time(something that wasn’t getting rid of dandruff back in the day) and using this mixed with castille soup every 2 days now, religiously every single week, and when i dont use this means i dont wash my scalp at all even tho i shower every day, sometimes when i eat bad i use this 2 times in a row and then fix my diet again, this product is beyond, i would definitely stuff my wardrobe with a lifetime supply of this just so i never run out of lol i am never going to go back to not being able to sleep nor workout because of the crazy itchy scalp no no no!!! Update 4/1/2026: Im still using this, still works, i just bought like 3 of them in one single order, same process, i use castile soap(Dr. Jacobs peppermint castile soap, because its thicker unlike the others ((even dr browners) which are watery)) i pour enough to make thick foam on my scalp, and add this zinc therapy product(shake it and dont be greedy) and i turn off the faucet because i spend like a minute or two massaging my scalp, the longer you leave it on, the fresher it feels[more penetrating?], i can eat fruits and eggs, which I couldn’t before because it would just trigger crazy itch on my scalp(specially eggs), and nuts and even some veggies, i was so miserable, im so grateful for this product. This is the only product I’ve tried that has consistently worked for dermatitis on my face. Especially in my facial hair. Since the product is liquid it can get to my skin reliably. I’ve previously tried lotions and anti fungals and while they do work it’s only for a limited amount of time. Not the case with this product and that is fantastic.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Amazing for fungal acne (malessezia) and dandruff. I use it once a day mixed with another face wash and let it sit on my skin for a few minutes before washing it off. I also mix it into my shampoo to prevent dandruff. Just be mindful that it is strong and can irritate dry patches of skin. I just use it around my dry skin patches and have no problem. It foams up a little, and has a zinc smell, which is fine. I will be purchasing for life bc it is stronger than other zinc products YET doesn’t have any acne triggering ingredients. I was worried about the tea tree oil at first, but it actually helps my regular acne and fungal acne even more.

This 2% Pyrithione Zinc face wash seems to be working well. I've been using it for about 7 weeks. The "trick" is you have to SHAKE THE BOTTLE before using it. If you don't, you may only get a clear, watery liquid. Once shaken, the bottle will discharge a white liquid, still somewhat watery, but it'll have a different consistency than the clear liquid. In washing my face with this white liquid, I began noticing a drying effect, and a very mild stinging -- the zinc obviously working. Try to keep the white liquid from your eyes, as the zinc will definitely sting them. How effective is this face wash? It's too early to tell. I'm trying to affect a few Seborrheic Keratosis that have appeared at my hairline. It's a gamble, but I'm willing to try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I purchased this because shampoo ( head& shoulder) with pyrithione does work for combating the dermatitis on my facial hair. So i figured having the pyrithione as a topical lotion that i could use in between showers, would be great. First time trying this and it made my seborrheic dermatitis in my beard flare up pretty bad. I could feel it sort of burning/ tingling..thought that was it killing bacteria. But now it became shabby and ouse puss. I will include a Pic. Caution ⚠️ gross.

I use this 2x weekly with oral meds and exfoliating actives for malassezia folliculitis/fungal acne donated by a dear pre-school aged family member. This is VERY strong for my skin. I cut it with a basic face/body wash (about 40:60 face, 80:20 body) and let it sit on my skin a few minutes before rinsing. I got BAD burning, stinging, and irritation the first time I used it straight, with more sensitive facial areas drying and scabbing. It’s still very effective for me diluted. I combine it with the foaming Neutrogena Ultra Gentle wash for face and Doctor Bronners Tea Tree liquid soap (also diluted—iykyk) for body. This has been extremely effective for keeping flare-ups at bay. Days I don’t use this I alternate with acid-based face/body washes for exfoliation, and basic non-active washes depending on my skin’s needs. It’s a tiny bottle, but since I dilute it definitely goes a long way.

I was dealing with toe nail fungus for a couple of years, nothing helped! I watch/listen to a lot of YouTube and I found Dr. Berg's video on the fastest way to get rid of toenail fungus. It suggests 25,000 iu of vitamin D and Pyrithione Zinc. I didn't buy the Pyrithione Zinc spray, I thought it pricey, so I bought this because it was the same amount and type of zinc I needed. I took the vitamin D daily and every morning and evening I slathered this on my clean and dry toe nails - No Polish. I let it dry and when it does, it is chalky white. Leave it alone lol it's working I did this in the cold weather because I like painted nails when I wear sandals. I’ve been struggling with an itchy ear and it was getting dirty so fast, so I decided to give this a try. After about a week and a half of using it, the itching is completely gone and my ear feels so much cleaner. This stuff really works and definitely lived up to the hype for me.
