I recently started using the commountain 3.5mm Listen Only Earpiece with my speaker mic, and it's been a game-changer during my shifts. The acoustic tube design ensures clear audio, even in noisy environments, and the three included earmolds provide a comfortable fit for extended wear. The build quality feels solid, and the connection is secure, with no issues of it unplugging accidentally. Overall, a dependable and comfortable earpiece that's become an essential part of my gear.

I've been using this for a couple months now at work, and its been a huge improvement over just using a shoulder mic. We run Motorola radios at work, and this works great with them. Its a major improvement for information safety, scene safety, and personal safety by keeping the radio traffic in my ear only, instead of broadcasting it for anyone around to hear. It's also very helpful when I'm outside or in noisy environments, I can clearly hear my other officers or dispatcher. It stays in place very well, and is comfortable to wear all shift for a 12 hour day. The ear pieces themselves are generic - and while they could be MORE comfortable, for the price of this unit you simply can't beat it. Very functional, clarity is very good (on par with the mic's audio quality) and the volume control is done on the radio handset itself, not the ear piece. Very easy to install, stays in place. Highly recommend. Only gave 4 stars because there are probably more comfortable solutions out there, but this is a high recommend item for anyone that needs to keep radio traffic to themselves, or may need a little extra help hearing what's being said.

Works great and for the money you cant beat it. Parts are interchangeable with the more expensive Motorola name brand so as things wear out you can have spare parts on the cheap.

LEO here, been using this product for about 6 months now. I’ll never go back to not wearing one ever again. The sound quality is great in my opinion. The volume is not a problem, it can either be super quiet or super loud just gotta find your preference. The feedback comes in really clear and I’ve had no problem hearing traffic even in loud environments. I think it’s a great overall product. After about 6 months of use, the cord loses is clear look and turns a little yellow, only bad thing I guess.

I was going to be working security for a series of concert events and needed to purchase an earpiece to make sure I was able to monitor my radio in a loud environment. The item arrived quickly and ensured I would have it in time for work. The earpiece is purely a one-way device and can only be used to monitor radio traffic so if you are looking for one with a mic, this model will not help you. The earpiece easily plugged into the standard 3.5mm jack on my radio and remained securely attached when used on the job. There was plenty of stretch to the wire which gave me more options on where to position it on my gear. I only used the standard earbud tip, but it remained, comfortably, in my ear the entire time and allowed me to hear the radio traffic clearly. The only thing that disappointed me was the earpiece stopped working just over a year after I bought it. I noticed that other people were getting radio traffic that I couldn't hear until I unplugged the earpiece. While the wire and acoustic tube get jostled around and stretched with basic usage, I wasn't wearing it all the time at work so it wasn't really getting a full year of usage. When failure to get radio traffic isn't an acceptable option, I'm not sure this earpiece is durable enough for use on the job.
