Peep hole looks good, drill bit works well for drilling hole in fiberglass door
I'm writing two reviews, one for the peep hole and the other for the drill bit Peep hole: The peep hole came in a small cardboard box with no instructions. It was easy enough to figure out how to install. The color looks like other brushed satin nickle that I have in my house. The view is ok - I was expecting a wider range but it seems to work as described. The shade inside is a nice touch. Drill bit: I was a bit weary because this bit arrived in a package that clearly had some other brand's logo on it and a Togu sticker slapped across it. Re-branding aside, this bit worked wonders at drilling a 16mm hole in my fiberglass door. I tried a different bit that cost a few dollars more and all it could do was scratch the paint. This bit made quick work of drilling a hole in one side of the door, and was just long enough to poke through the other side. I finished the hole by starting over from the other side (which is what I planned to do anyway). There was no tear-out on either side - the hole was incredibly clean. I have no idea if this bit will stand up to repeated use, but it worked amazingly well for the one hole that I intended to drill with it. The hole was a drop larger than the peephole but it's entirely covered by the inside and outside flanges. Still, it was a bit surprising to see the peephole rattling around in the door slightly (this issue is easily remedied by using caulk and tightening the two halves) Don't forget to pick up some caulk to keep water out of your freshly-drilled hole.

Good value for the money. Quick installation.
I bought the drill bit that was available from the same manufacturer which I recommend to make the installation easier. The drill bit is the saw style so it was a great application for a metal door as it prevents any large burrs from forming when drilling that you would experience with a standard twist drill bit. I am not sure how well it would work on a wood door. Others have raised a concern about tightening the peephole in place due to the small slots in the backside. I used a box cutter blade that I taped over the sharp side and used the backside as a screwdriver blade which worked excellent. An alternative would be a putty knife. Overall, a easy install of about 10-15 minutes with clean up.

A must have for this install!
I thought I had bit that would work for this brand of peep hole and did not. Bought this one and it worked perfectly on two metal doors with insulation in the middle. The best feature I think is the spring that helps you capture the core. A regular bit does not have this. I may be able to use this bit for other projects in the future. Highly recommended.

Cuts nice, clean hole through wood, but bit is very shallow
Does a good job cutting a hole for an in-door viewer. Blades are very sharp and cut cleanly. Put masking tape over the place you want to begin drilling and press it firmly against the wood. When the bit just begins to come out of the other side, put masking tape around that spot and start drilling from the other side. You should know that this drill is very shallow and only removes 1/8 inch of wood at a time. After doing that much, you'll have to stop drilling (you have no choice, actually) and remove the wood ridge the tool has created with a 1/2 inch drill bit. Then, continue drilling with the bit, and repeat. To drill a hole through a front entry door took about 10 or more of these cycles.

Easy to use, left a clean hole
This is a nice, solid product that is easy to use. I used it to install a peephole (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B8FLG2B/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) in a steel door in 15 minutes - and I am a complete novice when it comes to power tools. Pretty straight-forward to use though: Mark where you want your peephole; drill a pilot hole; switch to this bit and use it to enlarge the hole from both sides; unscrew the two parts of the peephole, insert from either side and screw back together. Happy to say I don't regret this purchase!

Works Great
I got this for installing two eye pieces (TOGU TG2814YG-SN Solid Brass) and it worked great for installing them. I don't know how many more times I will need this exact size but it did its job right.

Good product at a great price.
Worked quickly and cut a clean hole in my metal door. Wish it were a bit longer as to cut through both sides in one shot, but with accurate measurements you can meet in the middle. The later just makes me nervous.

Don’t buy this to install a front door peep in a normal thickness front door
This tool looks pretty well made but keep in mind it can only cut a hole 5/16 inch deep. This means it would work for a door just 5/8 inch thick only by drilling from both directions. Most front doors needing a peep sight are much thicker…. Needing a longer cutting hole saw such as the Bosch 5/8 inch diameter bi-metal hole saw capable of much greater depth hole that mounting a door viewing peep would need. Don’t forget the drill mandrel that goes with it and fits other Bosch hole saws if needed.
