Our son (our granddaughter 's dad) has been trying the telescope this week & is very impressed with the clarity of the images. He says however that the linked mobile phone photo does not do it justice compared with the image seen through the lens with the naked eye. I'm sure our granddaughter will absolutely love seeing the images of the night sky. We looked at several available telescopes at lower prices but thought this one at just under £100 would be the best to begin her interest in astronomy.
