Made in USA?

In 1960 the US passed a law requiring all cast iron cookware must be clearly stamped, etched  or otherwise have a permanent label with the country it was made in. I seriously doubt that being “designed “ in the USA and made in another country would negate the law and the cookware would still have to be stamped with name of the country in which it was made. Check any Lodge cast iron made after 1960 and you will see USA prominently stamped into the cast iron. If there is no country marked on the cookware, I would contact the Federal Trade Commission regarding the situation. And I surely wouldn’t buy it.  I’m using cast iron cookware that my great Grandmother used. Some is Lodge , some Griswald and some I haven’t been able to identify. It is well seasoned, un-pitted and I use it daily and treat it as my Mother taught me. I fully expect it to be in use well after I’m gone.

What "stone" is used in the making of this? Mentioned in 2 places: material is stone

No the material is cast iron,it may be sanded with stone.but the pot and lid is cast iron,been used forever for pans and Dutch ovens.

Question 3

Can you place bread dough on the skillet and cover with the Dutch oven? Or is skillet to shallow or Dutch oven too tipsy?

Baking bread is the main reason I use this Dutch oven. I don’t think the skillet is big enough nor is placing the Dutch over top as the lid safe though as it is very heavy. You can put your dough in the deep part of the oven and use the skillet as the lid. If you are worried about burning yourself putting your dough in the deep part, then place your dough in a piece of parchment paper and lower it in that way. This is what I do.

they don't seem to want to give the dimensions of the cast iron cookware. Diameter & Depth? They give it for one or two ... but that's all.  What's up

The diameter of the Legend Dutch oven is 10 inches. 
The total height of the Legend Dutch oven with the lid on is 6.457 inches and without the lid  is 4.567 inches.
