Never with a grub killer had we noticed grubs "running for their lives" and found them dead on the surface of the grass and flower beds. That's one way to tell it works! We seemed to have crane fly larvae type, which this treatment was very effective on. We had larvae/grubs so bad that the skunks were digging up our lawn to feast on them. Hopefully it took care of some ants as well. Easy to apply.

I don't know if the headline is clear. Here's what I experienced. - 5,000 sq ft yard, give or take - single bag indicates it is good for up to 10,000 sq ft I put down 1 bag. Yes it seemed to stop bug damage on most of the yard. But there are these 2 areas, where my yard bumps up to adjacent both neighbors' flower beds. The bug damage was only slowed down, not stopped. Which kinda surprised me 'cuz I had just put down what I thought was 10K sq ft worth of insecticide on my 5K sq ft yard. So with much hesitation, a month later I put down another bag. But not on the whole yard. I focused on those long stretches that butt up to neighbors' flower beds. 1 week later I'm beginning to see the grass making some gains in those areas. Which is great for the grass. But wow I just don't want to put down that much insecticide again. 'Cuz of the environment, you know. So yea I really like how this product works as a systemic. Need a systemic plus a contact to give grass a chance here in north texas. But, I think I'll research for a different systemic for next summer. Just in case it works without having to put down so much. OK, your milage will surely vary. That was my milage.

This stuff works but you need to put a heavy dose of it on if you have a real bad bug problem and you’re probably need to repeat the application in a few weeks to make sure you got them all. i like to use this as a insect protection when i go away for a long time and can’t keep an eye on things. also, if you have a bad insect issue i use the liquid spray as well as the granulated. bugs in florida can get extreme and destroy your yard. but this is effective, just put plenty down. i use 2x the dose to kill active insect attacks.

Worked great! We had sod worm moths and grubs in our yard causing issues with our grass. We used this and only saw one moth for the rest of the summer!!! It is a year later and we are noticing moths again, so we just repurchased. Easy to apply using our handheld granular spreader.

Had a problem with ants in my yard that really got out of control last year and continued through this year. I have tried several sprays and other type bug killers .. but nothing worked with any noticeable results. A big waste of time. I read reviews on this and decided to give it a try. It has been 5 days since I spread this on my lawn and finally .. my ant problem is almost gone. I would guesstimate that over 90 percent of them have been eliminated and are no longer making ant hills in my yard. Some areas used to have nothing but ant hills and now there is just one here and there (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) !! Now the question is, are they gone for good. If the problem returns within the next month or two I will update this review. But as for now this is GOOD STUFF and I would buy it again. UPDATE: 7/2/15 .. it has been about 2 weeks and maybe half of the ants are back. I downgraded from 4 stars to 3 because of this. It says it will stop ants for up to a couple months .. but weeks ???
