I had family in town for two weeks and we ate alot and on the days I felt extra bloated or full, I just mixed up a couple of teaspoons and it helped alleviate the bloated feeling. Even after all of the extra eating, I haven't gained what I though I would. I did read tht the charcoal takes nutrients away from the body, so it's not something to use on a daily basis (although I have). But I THINK it has helped keep off the extra gain??? HANGOVERS: I had a couple of family members vist the day after the 4th of July (after too much party) and I read that it helped with hangovers, so I put it to the test with one, and when he said he started feeling better, the other wanted to me to mix up a batch for him. I don't drink, so I can't say from personal experience how quickly it worked or how much better it makes a hangover feel.
