Great Ketogenic Recipe Book. Informative!
Oh wow! 120 recipes. This was my initial reaction when I opened this book. I was a bit skeptical about its contents, is this just another Kindle Ketogenic Diet recipe book that only collects a number of recipes online?First and foremost, the book started out with a detailed explanation of what a Ketogenic Diet is about. This is a great way to introduce the diet to people who want to try it, I’m glad this book made sure that the readers will gain a better understanding of what they are getting themselves into; from the benefits, what to expect, to which foods to eat and avoid. I’ve learned so much about the right calorie intake I should take each day in order for this diet to work at its full potential. For the recipes, the book contains a wide variety of foods to choose from. Complete with meat, vegetarian, seafood, breakfast, side dishes and even desserts. What I like about this book is that each recipe contains nutritional facts per serving and not all recipe books have this!. It’s really helpful so I can calculate and be aware of how much food intake I am getting daily.I have already tried the Spicy Tuna and Quinoa Salad, Chicken Gumbo and Sesame Chicken with Broccoli. This was my favorite, I decide to post a picture of it (except I had no sesame seeds to hand at the time.. turned out ok though). I enjoyed all these recipes and can’t wait to try the others too!

Excellent recipes Highly recommended
OK, I bought a couple of Ketogenic books on the advice of my trainer. This book is a bargain. It does review in great detail the science and how beginning a Ketogenic based eating system can have immediate positive effects on the body. Well written and realistic , the author breaks down the daily meals into well-organized sections. If you are a vegetarian, vegan or a red meat enthusiast, this book will amaze you with a ton of recipes to carry you through the whole day. Some are simple, others are complex. The variety is amazing.Of the books I purchased on the subject, this one was by far the best 'serving'.

Highly Recommend!
I have been researching the ketogenic diet for a while now. I have given it a shot or two and I wasn't able to stick to the diet as I found I wasn't enjoying my meals, I was eating the same thing and it was lackluster. On the advice of a friend I downloaded this Ebook and I was amazed at how tasty the recipes have been. I can now proudly say I have been going strong on the ketogenic diet for a while and I owe much of the credit to this guide and recipe book. Definitely recommend for anyone serious about changing their eating habits and living a healthier lifestyle

7 day meal plan NOT included in book!
The reason I purchased this book was for the recipes and the 7 day meal plan. The recipes looked good, but no meal plan was included in the book. You have to go online to find it, and when I did, the link did not work.

Another thing I like about this book is it gives me an idea ...
I have heard about Ketogenic so many times and I even have purchased several Ketogenic recipe book as I am too eager to reduce weight. This recipe book is definitely something that would help me decide what to prepare everyday not only for me as well for my family. Another thing I like about this book is it gives me an idea of what to eat and what to avoid. Of course a recipe book is helpful but when you are out of the house the easiest and fastest food to grab are always unhealthy. And the newest thing I have learned about keto which is not on the other books I purchased is the idea between a diet by rules or diet by principle and why most diet fails. A very good book of information about keto aside from it's recipe content.

Pictures would be nice
I bought two other books from this author and like them. Flip through, find pictures that look appealing, then dig into the recipe. We eat with our eyes first, right? So, why not apply the same principle to this book? The picture of the cover screams “buy me!” and so I did. That was the only picture though- the recipes within are text only. The recipe titles don’t catch my eye and make me want to dig in- I wish this book had pictures so we can see want we want to make, then validate we’ve prepared it correctly by comparing our dish to the photo. Just a thought. The nutrition info is appreciated, so two stars.

Beyond useless! Not a keto book at all and the recipes are based on protien and carbs.
I'm shocked that someone would title a book the ultimate guide to keto and then incorrectly state what that is and follow it by recipes that are not keto at all.For anyone who doesnt know, the diet is supposed to be high fat 70-80%, moderate protien 15-20% and low carbs 5-10% and those carbs should come from fibre in veg ect.The ratios in this book are about 50% protien, 25% carbs almost none from fiber and 25% fat for almost all recipes with no suggestions on how to up your fat. Per day she recommends having your daily carbs from starches, grains, bread and fruit and even includes agave in there all of which are mostly not supposed to be a part of keto. Then getting you quota of protien a day then finishing adding up to your daily calorie limit with fat. Considering she regularly calls for low fat cheeses in the book that is not helpful. Being keto its supposed to be a 70-80% fat diet and I expected this book to be based on making nutrious food based on that. Not blowing all your protien and carb limits for a day in the first meal with almost no fat in it and leaving you with 200grams of raw fat to eat for the rest of the day.

Confusing measurements
The author seems confused about units. The quantity of protein per lb of body weight does not match the quantity per kg body weight. The latter should be 2.2 times the former. This makes the whole book confusing. The food value counts are all in metric yet the recipes are in imperial. One pound of some ingredient, a cup of another. The cups in my house contain between 200ml and 400ml.Which do I use?Isn't it time to ditch these incomprehensible medieval units and put the whole book into metric like everything else in the world?

Easy to understand
This book really resonates with me. It is a easy read and does not bore you lost of scientific details before you get to the recipes. The guide lines are not one method fits all, you are told how to adjust the recommendations to fit you.
