I was ultimately quite skeptical of this but it does actually inflate well with the included pump. I only used it once to test so I don't know how long the pump will last but I am choosing to believe. It might deflate over time but once partially inflated it did not deflate when I tried to fold it so not quite reusable for travel. I just needed a spare for my mom's wheelchair (our dog has started trying to kill the current one!) so this works for what I need.

A similar pillow was used in the hospital for my husband and they gave it to him to take home. Theirs did not have a way to inflate it, so when it went flat I found this similar item on Amazon and ordered it. After a few weeks of use it also went flat because of a small puncture. I tried to patch it but it didn't hold. I then ordered 2 more so I would have a spare in case one developed a leak. He uses this pillow to relieve some of the soreness of sitting while he is undergoing wound care. He takes it everywhere including driving. I wish it was a little more durable, but it's inexpensive to replace, so that is a plus. I recommend this product for medical use and for comfort.

Really nice, but no instructions on how to inflate??! I'm not a genius, but I figured it out. It is adjustable as to the inflation, soft or firm. And for the price, I would buy it again. Hopefully I won't have to. lol

I am returning this cushion. I purchased it for my Dad and he was only able to use it twice. It leaked air so I aired it back up and we noticed it was leaking air from several seams.

These are perfect for taking stress off the hips and spine!!!

I bought 3 of these, one is no good after a few weeks use. The air leaked out, won't hold air anymore. The other 2 are fine still after a few weeks use. These are comfortable.

For my use, I was skeptical this wouldn't deflate rather quickly due to my weight; but took a chance because it was affordable. I'm disabled and need to use a shower seat, which left my fanny quite sore by shower's end. The first cushion I got became moldy after a few weeks. I've been using this inflatable cushion for a couple months now, and it's lost no air at all! And the air pump that came with it was easy and quick. I lay a tea towel over the cushion when I'm showering so it doesn't stick to my wet bottom; afterwards, I wring the towel out and hang it in the shower to dry (adhesive towel bar also from Amazon). Works very well for my needs!

Cheap but it works

This inflatable seat cushion came with a pump that's as useful as a chocolate teapot. It's a pity, really, because sitting on deflated dreams isn't quite the comfort I was promised. Save your money and invest in something more substantial.
