Great space saving s and p set- holds a lot of salt and pepper-

False advertising...I wish the pepper part was darker....it looks faded in color....my biggest advice, is if you're using your fingers or a spoon, use the lid as a catch or a spotter or else you'll get salt everywhere!

Mine came with a SHARP edge in one of the letters, we had to file it down.

Firstly, the packaging on this pinch pot is quite substantial. The carriers are going to have to drive over this thing for it to arrive broken. The pots themselves are nice. The mold is consistent, and the coating/glazing is even. They are substantial size for pinch pots (about 1.5x the size of a typical creme brulee ramekin) which is good, you are not going struggle to get that pinch quick of salt when you are in a hurry.The reason for the four stars is that the lid and the top pot do not have a good fit. I think it is due to the shallow depth of the lip that fits down into the pot, it is so shallow it allows the lid or top pot to just sort of tip/slide off of the pot bellow. Given that fact, I question whether I would have been better off with the swivel style pots. That is a question I will not be answering until/unless I break these though as it is not a big enough issue.All of that said, I have operated without pinch pots for years. I have seem them used a lot and always thought it would be kind of convenient ... I should have bought these decades ago. Pinch pots are one of those little items that make cooking just about anything WAY easier.

I think they look great on my countertop and are very handy for seasoning. I prefer scooping or grabbing to shaking out of a shaker. I feel like there’s more control and less risk of over seasoning. I do wish they were a touch smaller and the lid of the salt really needs to fully air dry because there is a whole crevice/lip in the lid that makes hand drying difficult. Otherwise I think they’re a beautiful and classy addition any kitchen. Very sturdy. This would make a lovely housewarming gift.

Right next to the stove is where I have them! Very convenient for cooking instead of the salt and pepper shakers. The only thing is I wish it had a rubber seal to keep the moisture out!

My pepper had mold growing on it in less than a week while confined in this salt/pepper pincher set. I put a couple of plants in the pincher bowls instead.. bought new salt and pepper shakers.. mold problem solved.. not recommend
