Stabilizing Support Cables for ProAm USA 12' DVC200/250 Camera Crane/Jib

Works great on my ProAM 12' crane.... only issue is what you get is not what is pictured on Amazon. The picture on Amazon is the older model, which consists of one small cable and one long one. Now you get one small one (designed for the back part of the boom) and TWO slightly longer ones that hook together with an S bracket for the long part of the boom.I guess the reason they did this is so there is only one SKU. If you're running the crane at 8', then just use one of the cables.

Certainly helps support things when you have additional weight at the end which is nice.One thing that bothers me about the kit (why I gave it 4 stars) is actually one screw/handle in particular. The one with the knob for the central bar.The screw and handle... aren't together; you have to take a tool to screw it in, and then have an awkward handle in the way that does nothing because it isn't even shaped to the screw (the cut out in the little plastic handle is just round..)So what is the purpose of giving that screw it a handle.. if you can't even use it?Hopefully that will get fixed in a product update.Other than that I am satisfied with the kit... price wise; $29.99 would be more of a fair price for what this is.

Works as expected, easy to assemble and stopped the bouncing boom problem. Worth the money. Only problem was the jib itself. I have the one before they drilled the hole for the support mast, I had to drill it myself so make sure you have the hole installed before you purchase this product.
