This item is exactly as described and it provides a true panoramic view of the perimeter of my Prius. It does seem to show objects as being farther away than they actually are, which is common with such mirrors. It is a bit hard to keep the expandable arms open while installing it, so I cut two small sections of a paper clip to hold it in place which allowed me to position it perfectly. I highly recommend this unit, especially at the price. Other units are more expensive but I was please with the size I chose at the reasonable price.

I had one of these mirrors many years ago and unfortunately forgot it in a rental. I got a replacement but it didnt' attach in the same way and with the slightest bump it would fall off. So I'd always have to be careful opening the sun visors. I finally decided to replace that one and it is such a different. This is much easier to mount to the OEM mirror and stays put when you need to adjust the mirror for different drivers. The clamps are a bit stiff and needed more effort to attach than I expected, however that also means it has a tight grip on the OEM mirror. When I drive a vehicle without one of these wide angle mirrors, I feel like I'm at a disadvantage with blind spots. This is really helpful for minimizing blind spots. It fits well around the mirror and moves easily with it. Check out my photo of the other design to avoid.

My wife is being treated for whiplash following a collision on December 30, 2021, and can barely turn her head left or right, which makes driving a challenge because most of the time she has to turn her whole body to see left or right to avoid additional pain. Her doctor recommended getting a wide angle mirror, so I started shopping here on Amazon. After tyring and returning two other competitor products, this Goodyear mirror, albeit with one minor flaw, is a keeper. I'm giving this mirror a 4-1/2 stars rating. The first mirror was tinted blue supposedly for "anti-glare" purposes, but the tint was so dark, that even in broad daylight darker items in shadows were next to impossible to see, and at night . . . UGH! The second mirror candidate was wider and taller, and had moveable side extensions that I thought might work, but the 3" height of the mirror contacted her Subaru Forester's Eyesight housing which prevented proper positioning. This mirror fits well over the OEM electronic mirror, and is even wider than #2, but not as tall and can be positioned correctly. The clips could be a bit longer from front to back in order to extend over the entire mirror body, but they clamp the accessory to the OEM mirror fairly well -- I may need to add something to prevent the accessory mirror from slipping off. And as you will see in the video that accompanies this review, the one flaw is a slight distortion in the bottom left corner of the mirror caused by the frame that surrounds the mirror glass impinging on the glass. I may try to alleviate the stress with an X-acto knife, but I don't want to damage the product. In all other respects, as in the video demonstrates, the mirror provides a very crisp and wide-angle view that reaches nearly 180 degrees, from driver's door to front passenger's door. The slight "fisheye" effect takes a bit of getting used to -- mostly because you see yourself in the mirror and you definitely get that "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" vibe. But my wife likes it, she can see to the left and right sides without having to turn her head very much, and that's what matters most.

Totally love this mirror. I put it on my 2013 rav4 and now i have no blind spots to worry about. totally worth it and it is not cheasy unit. it is nice and sturdy.

Bigger than I expected but mounts easily and has clear vision

It fell off the mirror fairly regularly. After being in a hot car, the mirror fell out, but I was able to pop it back in. I used some clear tape tape that i thought would hold it. Not so lucky when it happened again in hot weather.

you see so much it can be alittle distracting till you get used to it. I originally bought it for my audi convertible then 2 days later I sold the car..... so i really didn't need it for this car but too lazy to return it does give you a huge view, so for that its a great buy

Tried several, this wide angle rear view mirror is so good I am willing to gush about it (which i never do). It is surprisingly light (a good thing) yet very sturdy, attaches easily and securely and the wide angle covers so much more than I expected. Just a superb product that does the job and then some.
