I added these fire logs which makes the fire pit look much more like a real campfire. All the pieces fit under the lid if laid flat. Then I just stack them into a pyramid for use. I live in drought-stricken Texas where there is normally a burn ban. This lets us have the fun of a fire (you can roast s'mores etc), without the risk and hassle of burning real wood.
