The Lord's Table Leader's Guide

I purchased this book to help lead a group (starting soon), however, I have been working through the workbook for 17 days now and actually used the leader guide yesterday as I was doing the devotion.After using this leader guide, I was better able to understand what the devotion for that day was trying to tell me. So, even if you don't plan to have a group or use the workbook in a group, the leader guide does give more insight and even some clarification (if you need it) to the teachings within the workbook.A very handy extra to the already fantastic Setting Captive's Free program.

This guide adds so much more to the Student Workbooks. By using this book with the Workbook, however, you haveto adjust the days because the Guide is on a 5 day week whereas the workbook is on a 7 day week or 60 straight days.To make them fit together, you have to use the Workbook as a 5 day week also. You just put in your own extra 26 daysof the diet program and all works out well.

I've facilitated this program at church twice now. I use some of the guide, but it doesn't always suite what I think the group needs. It is a good guideline, and helps point out some things that are worth reviewing.

Thank you for sending this book so quickly and in perfect condition. It is such a help, through the scriptures, to help with my over eating habit. You can see how the Lord knew we would have these issues and provided the perfect help. As He always does :)

It provides a clear guide to implementing the teachings to help people sustain their weight loss. It gives good keys on the issues that group members will face in the course and how to overcome them.
