George Foreman grills have always been a classic in my opinion. I encourage prior to grilling your meat coat your meat with olive oil for better results and easier to clean the grill. You have the option of placing your grill in the dishwasher but I prefer hand washing. DO NOT immerse the probe or plug in water but wipe them down and let air dry afterwards. Read your instruction manual first before use.

I love this model. So easy to clean the detachable nonstick cook surfaces and food cooks quickly with no need to flip. I clean the top and bottom cook surfaces by hand rather than using a dishwasher. The large drip tray slides into the unit and the drippings flow neatly through holes in the bottom cook surface into it. The drip tray is also nonstick and a breeze to clean. Though the unit also has a temperature knob to increase or decrease the heat I always keep it on max. Not smokeless but just put it under the exhaust fan if you don't like the lingering smell of what you're cooking. R.I.P. George Forman. So talented and a big loss to society.

This is a good grill. It warms up quick, love built in grease tray that comes off.Con and warning: It is NOT dishwasher safe despite box,directions and advertisement here that it is! I waited 6 months before deciding to try dishwasher and then grill wouldnt work. DO NOT submerge or put in dishwasher! I removed control and did it right. This was disappointing, I tried contacting mfg and was unsuccessful. Amazon did help me with replacement.Other con: there are holes in bottom grate for grease to drip so it causes heat to escape. It isn't huge deal but I do prefer solid grates to contain heat and even surface heat.There is room to improve this grill. It will work great if you get it.

This thing is pretty amazing. Super easy to clean and can cook fast. I bought it because I was sick of cleaning up the grease splatter on my stove every time i make burgers. This cooks faster, and less cleanup! Being able to throw it in the dishwasher (on a low setting to extend its nonstick surface life) is really great.

My family bought this so we could have a quick and delicious way to make chicken and steak without purchasing a outside grill. Sure it doesn't give that great wood smoke, but the ease of making chicken in this, plus that it goes into the dishwasher is a huge win for me. Our chicken always comes out perfect - which is nice since I don't have to monitor it the whole time. So happy we got one of these.

This is the best indirect grill. Previously I had a george foreman grill that I used often. However, it was a pain to clean the plates. With this grill, the plates detach easily and go in the dishwasher. So far I am very happy with this purchase

this it the newest George we have used. Have had 2 older models before & wore them out so got this one. We do like the new slick cooking surface which makes it easy to clean plus it can go into the dishwasher. The true cooking surface is only 10"X 8" and a larger grease pan than older models. Some where I read it can cook 5 hamburgers but they must have been mini ones as we can only get 3 max. This one must have smaller cooking edges/sides as it allows grease to spatter out the sides making a mess on the counter especially on thicker food. So we add wax paper or foil on the counter to catch the mess. Also the top grate does not have a channel to direct grease onto the lower grate thus allowing it to drip off when lid it open, more mess. We do like the temp control & it heats up in 5min. Also make sure u burn off the new smell & wash a couple of time before use. I really cant recommend this as there maybe some better out there

easy to use, versatile, easy to clean (by hand or dishwasher).the adjustable temperature is nice, but no indication of what temp it is set at, do half a star off for that.the other half star off is because when you lift the lid to 'load' it after it's preheated, it can easily disengage from the power connector without you knowing and it just gets cold and your food doesn't cook. you have to be sure to check that the power connector is still fully seated after you open/close it. and if you do this when the food is actually cooking, you have to use something to shield yourself from steam that comes from the back.
