Absolutely fabulous for making sunshades. I do it for our boat.
I have purchased this item in white multiple times for our boat. I use it to make sunshades. It can be extremely hot on the lake in Georgia with the sun beating down in the morning or throughout the day. This stuff is great. I cut off a strip to make reinforced ties along all four sides then hang it up wherever I need it. I made a dedicated sunshade for the front windshield that takes the cabin temperature down significantly. It so wonderfully light weight that it folds up into a tiny bag when they're not in use. So that's how I use this stuff.

parachute fabric for windsocks
I make windsocks and havenโt had the opportunity yet to use the fabric but itโs what I needed. Thanks for having the fabric.

Cut wrong
This arrived quickly, the colors are great and itโs exactly what I expected. The only reason I gave four out of five stars is that each piece is cut so crookedly. The fabric was never squared up properly as it came off the bolt so the pieces that I received were each parallelograms instead of the rectangles they should be. That means they werenโt cut along the rip stop grain. Even though each side measures the correct 36โ, I really only got about 30โ of usable fabric in each color.
