L'Oreal Professional AD1183 Serie Expert Silver Shampoo for Unisex, 10.1 Ounce

L'Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert - Silver Magnesium Neutralising Shampoo (For Grey and White Hair) 300ml/10.1oz I finally decided to quit fighting my roots and gave up coloring my hair. I am prematurely white and did not want to have yellowish or dingy colored hair. My stylist recommended this shampoo and the results have been terrific. It has cleared away the build up from other products and added bright shine. The compliments I receive are the best testimony to its effectiveness. Some reviewers mentioned a "blue-haired old lady" problem, but I have not experienced that at all. (Following the directions on the bottle seems advisable.)

Made my silvers shine, toned yellowing, and made my hair SOFT w/body, no drying out..all in one shampoo. A small bottle, but you only need to use once a week. Before finding this shampoo, the purple shampoos I could afford would dry my hair out badly (transitioning to grey/silver). This one...affordable, and works in every way! Good lather, decent fragrance. Not quite sure how much toning it did for my hair since I used a few days after bleaching and toning my hair, so I still had residual gray tones from the toner I had used. However, I prefer my purple shampoos to leave just the slightest of lavender tone in the ends, and this shampoo definitely didn’t do that for me. Bonus though, although I chose to wear gloves when I used it, I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say you don’t have to worry about this shampoo staining your fingernails, cuticles, or hands.

Good product; eliminates yellowing as promised. The shampoo does not stain hands or the bathtub.

Love this shampoo, helps bring out the silver in my hair and am imbracing the look no more dying.

I'm not convinced that this product does much for one's silver locks, but it certainly does a great deal for one's fingernails - this black (actually VERY dark purple)shampoo effectively dyes their edges black. it took two or three days of using a more conventional shampoo to clean the blackened edges of my fingernails. So, either wear rubber gloves when applying the shampoo, or live with black-edged fingernails.

No English instructions & I can't stand the smell. The product was billed as "unisex", but it smells like men's cologne!No instructions in English scare me - does this contain something that would prevent it's sale in the U.S.? I am concerned that even if I could get past the smell, I have no idea what I'm using or how often to use it! Even when I peeled back the incomprehensible sticker pasted over the original label, the original label contained nothing in English except for the product title on the face of the bottle. This is also an unreturnable product, so I am just out my money - although a small price to pay for experience, it's still hard to take!I know it was cheap, so I'll just write this off to experience - I will never order these types of products through Amazon again.

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to use this. I have some graying coming out naturally. I've decided to embrace my gray so to speak. I bought this wanting to make it appear for like a white than a gray a voila, I washed my hair with it the first time and left it on for 3 minutes before rinsing, and it really lightened my grays. The smell is good and I will totally be reordering it when I run low.

So I dyed my hair with a colour grabbing pink dye. It took bleach to shift it but this did lighten the colour just not lime I thought it would

Really deep cleans the hair, and washes all products out of the hair, for that nice clean feeling. Love the smell of the citramine, hair feels great every time I use it and I'm not washing my hair as much as I used to, this shampoo is great, glad I got the big bottle

Bought for someone else. They seem to like it. Doesn’t have a pump, just a screw-top lid.
