Joystick Desk Mount 2 Set, Hotas Mount for Flight Sim Game Joystick Suitable for Thrustmaster T16000M FCS/TCA/T.Flight HOTAS 1/4/ HOTAS warthog, for Logitech G X52 / X52 Pro/ X56

Having recently purchased a Thrustmaster 1600 HOTAS I struggled for room on my desk to use the separate throttle & joystick, until I discovered this DIWANGUS Joystick Desk Mount. It comes as a set of 2, very well made, easy to assemble and boy, what a difference it makes! I’m using a regular office chair with arms and the joystick and throttle now sit perfectly aligned for where I need them. I can sit between the 2 mounts without any hindrance when working normally on my PC, so once you have set them up, they can stay in position.If you do need to remove for any reason then it’s simply a case of pulling a lever to unlock from the desk. Simples!These may seem expensive to some, but I think they are worth every penny as I can now look forward to flight simming with the manual controls in the perfect position.Go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

Having my warthog throttle and vkb joystick on the desk was ok, you know it worked just fine but It got to a point in my mind where it's like "let's spend some more money on this setup so I can literally play one game" so as my birthday approached I eyed up my options. And it came down to what was the cheapest, these were pretty cheap compared to fox mounts or monster tech but they are good, holding up the warthog just fine, that thing is really heavy you know.My desk is really rubbish, the placement of the legs makes me use the mounts close to my chair, also they are really long which is fine but not fine with a crappy desk. I have to move the arms of the chair lower down or lower the seat, so it's not really optimal for me. So more money to iron out on a desk now.Verdict, pretty damn good at holding up your gear. They are a bit finicky to get going but once you get with the program it's fine.The warthog doesn't fit on there good. If you have it set to low on the bracket itself. When you give it full throttle as it were your fingers will touch the bracket. So i have set the throttle as highest it can go. The plate the unit sits it's not long enough basically. Unless I'm missing something, I think maybe make your own plate to mount the throttle too and then fix it to the bracket. Anyway, good for what you pay for and be prepared to be a little disappointed with the throttle arrangement

Took a bit of time to work out how it all goes together but was worth the effort. Every possible adjustment can be made, although it can be a little time consuming to get it just right. Lots of loosening, adjusting and re-tightening of the many Allen (hex) bolts! Very sturdy and stable in use though and easy and quick to install and remove. Would definitely recommend, but be prepared to have patience with the assembly and adjustments.

Ordered this morning, arrived this evening about 9pm, Mostly assembled out of the box, top marks for that, a few bits and bobs to complete but just looking at it is easier than looking at the instruction pictures, it’s very easy to complete assembly. Wasn’t sure if it would hold the TCA Captains pack as it stated first officer pack in the description, the Captains pack edition obviously being twice as wide as the FO edition, but took a chance “where Amazon’s excellent returns policy comes in handy” and it works like a charm. Also plenty of screws with it, I’ve attached all 6 in the throttle quadrant and the 2 max capacity in the side stick. Attached it to the desk, gave it a good few twists and turns, both throttle quadrant and joystick mounts are solid. Overall delighted with the product “very early days” and at a much cheaper price than its competitors it seems on Amazon. Its cheap compared to other sellers on Amazon, but it’s still crazy expensive for what it actually is, but if you want a set of desk clamps for your setup, it seems a great buy, if you can do without, save yourself £80 and put them on your desk.

Product quality was good and overall I’m happy with my purchase, here’s my issue with it: Products adjustments are done with bolts which can take a long time to do as there’s about 30 for each mount, you have to slide pieces to get them to fit but because it’s metal on metal it doesn’t run very well and makes micro adjustments very hard, you spend ages getting it right and tightening it all up and if the adjustments are wrong you have to do it all over again. The clamp could be better as well, it’s either on or off, would like it to maybe screw into place, again to make the micro adjustments easier. The current clamp is either always too tight so it doesn’t do up or not tight enough to it wobbles.

The brackets themselves are fine. Held firmly in place and strong enough not to flex in use. A problem, though not one for the brackets is, if like me, you have a bracket either side, in line say, with your shoulders, that the connecting cable between the hotas one joystick and the throttle, means the cable sits on top of your legs. Not ideal nor the fault of the brackets. It is workable, however.

Some of the reviews mention not being provided with any of the necessary bolts to connect flight stick to the mount. I Had no such issues with 3 different lengths of bolt to attach from.The VPC WarBrd from virpil was not mentioned in the list of compatible bases. As you can see from the included picture It fits snuggly into the mount with a little bit of room to adjust postion ( but not by much). It also supports my T16000.Quick release clamps make for easy removal, however it is not possible to fold away without first removing your flightstick base (A fairly quick job providing you have the tools with you)Very Strong - I now need a more secure desk to mount them to.
