This Gandhi Appliance seller is very trustful and shipped very fast. The buyers can trust to this sellers. I bought things from this seller from both Amazon and ebay. They have awesome items to enjoy for the kitchen.I cooked masoor daal and this pressure cooker did fantastic! If anybody can follow the directions of this item you can do good. This is good for 2-4 people in the household. Make sure do not overfill in the contain and water. The water should be pour atleast minimum 2 fingers above whatever you are cooking vegetables, or boiling daals. I also cooked half chicken (cut-ups small/medium pieces with 2 BIG aloos cut ups in 8 pieces pieces and came out fanastic! Very easy to close and open with click mechanisms. Just make sure clean that pressure vent for the next cooking.I even fried some small pakoras in this kadai(wok without using the pressure lid) using the glass lid which is a plus addition!! I liked the style with varities of cooking dishes with this cooker.I am happy with this item.

Really disappointed
Bought this cooker because of all the good reviews but all soon turned into big disappointment. It stopped whistling after few use only, lid is too heavy to handle comfortably, heating is not equivalent for whole base and now cooking in it is so difficult. Wanted to change it's gasket sealing ring thinking maybe that will help but finding that is even more difficult. Total waste of money as now we will surely have to buy another good cooker.

Often food gets burned
Its not like the traditional pressure cookers. You need to put extra water for whistle to come or else food will stick and can easily be burnt.

Great cooker that actually whistles. Easier to clean and good cooking in stainless steel. Best part lid is super easy to lock and unlock

Dish wash friendly and good idly maker.....
Good product. But the pressure whistle is not always working because of the bottom screw gets loose every time I cook. I think prestige should work on this matter otherwise the product new and innovative. liked the lock-in system then tradition style cookers. like the size and quality.
