Neat design and very durable. My fault for not reading the description well, as I was thinking it would have more of a marbled texture. It is indeed ceramic through and through. The design looks nice and you can't really tell its a printed image on the coaster unless your sitting close to it. Pretty from a distance. So far so good in terms of absorbency. Makes a nice addition to my coffee table set up.

Like sponges
Some minor chips on edges of 2 coasters. Oh well. They feel a little fragile, but hold an enormous amount of liquid without even feeling moist. Very vibrant and pretty too.

The picture is better than it looks in person
The colors are pretty but dull. I wish they were brighter color and it would help if they were shiny. I did not return them because I had to use them for my party. They are well made but not like the ad.
