This item works well , my dog hadn’t even attempted to jump over it . Very easy to manoeuvre & sturdy enough too.

I’m currently using this in the doorway between rooms to stop my Dachshund puppy having access to all areas. If used like this it needs to be wedged as it will fall over if the puppy jumps up on it. I think it’s designed to mainly be used on the stairs. It works well in that situation, but I thought it would be good to show it can go into a doorway if needed. Delivery of this isn’t speedy but it did arrive in line with the estimate. It comes flat packed and the feet are incredibly tight to put on! Hence why I dropped a star for the overall rating. I couldn’t get the feet on myself but with a lot of brute force and the full weight of my 18 stone husband pushing down, we eventually got it built. It creaked and sounded like it would break! I think the manufacturer could make the slot 1mm wider which would make it easier to construct. Overall I’m happy with this purchase, and think it’s suitable for small puppies only.

Got a springer spaniel and it stops her from going upstairs and jumping on the bed. It collapsed easily so you can take it on holiday and very light weight but sturdy

Delivered without feet, and therefore cannot stand up.EDIT: finally the feet turned up and the product works as intended. Note that this is not a robust blocker, but if you want to use it against a doorway, it works. While it is not cash expensive, it's taken 7 weeks since order date to get a complete item, and lots of time chasing, so I'd say it wasn't worth the wait or personal effort.

This works well on my stairs to atop my 2 small dogs going up, but it's very thin and flimsy

I use this at the bottom of our stairs to prevent the dog heading up. It’s basic but effective. I may paint it one day, if I ever get round to it! Easy to store when not in use.

We have a naughty puppy who think's she's the Andrex puppy and loves nothing more than stealing loo roll, unfortunately she shreds it and eats it, going upstairs after her you generally find a white out everywhere! This stops her from getting up there and causing devastation - it's lightweight, affordable and solves the issue, keeping her where we can watch her!
