I am super happy that I purchased this rug. We hunt ALOT and as we are always needing to clean our shoes and boots as we come through the back door I needed a good outdoor mat that would clean our boots and hold up long term outdoors. I was buying the regular black rubber mat with the little rubber fingers sticking up. They work great, but after only 1-2 months all the little rubber fingers start breaking off. They go all over the back porch, track in the house, and render the mat useless. It also would need to be turned over to drain off the water every time it rained and it blows away when windy. I researched and found the dura-rug, and I couldn't be more pleased. It cleans slightly less aggressively than the old mat, and I do recommend getting the soft brushed top instead of the solid rubber top, but the durability and weight of this thing is incredible. It's super heavy, super thick, wont blow away, doesn't hold water, dries fast when rained on, and I think it's going to last a long, long, time outdoors. The outdoor feral cat also loves laying on it. :) I think the extra money was worth it as I wont need to be replacing this mat every few months. Like I said earlier, it might clean the shoes slightly less aggressively than other mats but not a deal breaker. In the summer when everything is dry and it's just a matter of knocking sand off the shoes before heading in it works perfect.

These are what I consider to be the perfect door mats. They allow dirt to fall through the holes but do a good job of cleaning off the heavy stuff before you enter your home. I still use a second more absorbent mat inside to final clean my shoes but without these outside too much dirt would come in. These will last a very long time and will hold up to heavy traffic. My partner loves em. They look pretty good too.

We are using this mat in a coastal environment with a lot of wind, rain, and sand. I needed something that wouldn't blow away and that would not deteriorate in the elements. This fit the bill perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

My parents had one of these when I was growing up. My grandparents also had one. They lasted forever. We have one outside the door to our barn and it works wonderfully. I decided to look for one and found it here on Amazon. I bought a large and a small. Everyone that sees it says something like “wow, we had one of these when I was a kid”. I’m so glad that they are still available.

This was a great may for my door. I am able to get mud off my shoes before walking into my house. It was a little smaller than the previous one I had.

I'm so glad that I ordered this door mat for outside my front door. The mat is heavy, well made, easy to clean and stays put even when it's very windy outside. The mat removes any dirt etc. on the bottom of your shoes. I expect that this door mat will last a very long time. I highly recommend this product.

We had this recycled tire doormat (the style without the "carpet" surface) at our last home and it lasted for years. We left that behind when we moved and purchased this one with the carpet surface for our next home. I was concerned the "carpet" part might wear off, but once it arrived, I realized that shedding would not be possible. The carpet design is cut out from the tire itself and does not shed. We like both styles, but this "carpet" one does a better job of rubbing things off our shoes. It's price-y, but worth it! The brand name is accurate—Durable Corporation! VERY durable and we know we will save money over the years replacing standard mats. The 20 x 30 inches works well for our standard front door. The rain direction hits our front stoop, but the water drains away from the mat with no issues. I would say we will rebuy again, but I don't think we will need to for a while. I imagine we will have this one for years.

It’s a great mat, ours is outside our garage entrance and stops us tracking mud and water into the garage on rainy days. It doesn’t hold water so it’s fine for rainy days, it stays in place and is a great hardworking mat to help keep mud and dirt outside. I will likely buy another for the back door

Love it! Durable and does what I got it for. Let’s the dirt drop through to prevent tracking into the house. The dog likes it too. It keeps her off the wet floor of the deck.
