Cowboy Wild

I I thoroughly enjoy readings this book I love how the author has the characters worked out so perfectly with each other and they get along and it comes down to making a love story .

I just really enjoy the way she tells story's. She makes the characters come to life the way she writes.

Cowboy Wild Maisey Yates February 21, 2023 Elsie Garret was always the baby of the Garrett clan. Her brothers loved her, helped raise her along with the other men on the Four Corners Ranch. She was born in a barn and left in the hay by her mother who was tired of being pregnant and having children to clean up after. Her father was only interested in the children doing his work while he drank. He beat his wife until one day she left, leaving Sawyer and Wolf to take care of the ranch and Elsie. They could suffer from his drinking and ugly, nasty self. At 24 years, she decided it was time to find someone to help her become the woman she was. She could enjoy life despite the ugly memories. The Sullivan families had an open door for her and the other in the Four Corners. Elsie was a true horsewoman. She learned her trade from the McClouds, especially Hunter. Now she was helping set up the ranch for McClouds Landing to become a center for equine therapy. Gus, the eldest McCloud brother was spot on when he hired her to help with clients and train horses. She worked with Hunter on a daily basis. Although he was truthful, handsome and an incredible man, she thought of him as a brother until the night at the bar when another cowboy asked her to dance and became a bit too friendly for Hunter’s liking. Cowboy Wild will be published by Harlequin on February 21, 2023. I am appreciative of their allowing me to read Maisey Yates latest in the Four Corner Ranch series via NetGalley. She has the ability to give her characters honest, expressive thoughts and feelings. Both Hunter and Elsie suffered a childhood of being neglected and shunned by their parents. Each kept the loss of love tucked away inside only for it to creep out in their dreams. Cowboy Wild is an excellent story of family and the capability to circle their siblings with love and understanding. Four Corners is an outstanding series with Cowboy Wild being an enchanting story. Do Enjoy! !

There was a slow start to this book, but I'm glad I stayed with it. Hunter and Elsie's story was both complicated and sexy. I also really enjoyed the novella about Arizona and Micah. Both books had well-defined characters with unexpected depth.

Another amazing Four Corners storyline! Cowboys and cow girls finding love when they least expect it or have any examples of good love to follow. Another emotional ride from Missy Yates!

Such a fantastic read! I loved every minute of Hunter and Elsie's story - the banter, the humor, the chemistry, the discovery, all the feels and the tenderness. I couldn't put it down. Didn't want it to end! I have never felt compelled to re-read a book, but I wanted to re-read this one the moment after I'd finished it. My favorite so far in a wonderful series that hopefully has many more to come.

Even though it has a lot of the same themes on repeat, this one has good tension. Cowboy Wild - I don't know why the epilogues always go a few books ahead. I could guess who the friend ended up with. I appreciate the music mentioned and the banter of the characters. There were some inconsistencies so not quite 5-star. Her Wayward Cowboy - This story was enjoyable but I couldn't figure out which fairytale was used, maybe none. 13 was a bit too young and unbelievable. I was not expecting to like these stories to be this good. I'm going to continue, maybe one book a week or something. Recommend to others: Yes, this was one of the better stories in the series. Loved Elsie and Hunter's story. What a way for both of them to find out that it had always been love for them.
