Great accessory for iPad Pro with magic keyboard
My apple pencil was often left at home when I would take my iPad places because it would get knocked off and I didn't want to lose it. This holder was a solution for my concerns! The metal portion of the holder holds to the iPad and is secure in between the case and the iPad. However, it would not be secure enough on its own to stay on the iPad securely for transport without a magic keyboard case. It holds the pencil securely and allows for charging so I no longer worry about losing it. Pros: works as expected with a magic keyboard, holds pencil securely and allows for charging, easy to access pencil for use, matches nicely as an accessory to the magic keyboard, good value compared to replacing a lost pencil. Cons: not secure enough to use without the magic keyboard case (it is not intended for use without the case, so this is not really a con, more of a cautionary warning).

Works As Intended
Works perfectly. Light weight and doesn't make my iPad stick up from the magic keyboard case very much. I like the flexibility of the material as it allows for more room if the pencil has a cover. My pencil has a silicone cover and it still fits perfectly, charges perfectly, and easy to remove, especially with the built in slotted hole for your fingers to push the pencil. It seams to be durable enough for continued use and minor bumps or falls, time will tell. Great price, no more dropping pencil or worrying about dropping it.

Use it on the side
I use this on an iPad Pro 13inch with the Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Magic Keyboard. When attached to the top like all the pictures show, it does fall off when taking the iPad off the keyboard. Very annoying. I guess if you never take the iPad off the keyboard then this pencil holder is great. But sucks if you do take the iPad off. I figured out a better way to use the holder - attach it to the camera side of the keyboard like the pictures. The magnet is very strong there and the holder doesn’t fall off when the iPad is removed. Once I figured that out, I’m happy with this holder. Not the best because of the problem with attaching to the top side. Note - the pencil does not charge while connected to the side.

Simple Design. Works great.
I still cannot believe that Apple sells their iPads and Magic Keyboards without a built-in way to store the pencil, but this pencil holder works great as an alternate solution. It has a simple design, is easy to attach to the ipad, and stays in place with no issue. Works great.

Good option for Apple Magic Keyboard!
This product really helped to solve a problem that I didn’t anticipate having in the first place! My husband was so sweet and surprised me with a brand-new iPad Air and the (crazy expensive!) accessories of the Apple Magic Keyboard, and the Apple Pencil Pro to go along with it. I was super stoked, right up until I realized that the magic keyboard case/keyboard for the iPad didn’t come with any sort of storage option to secure the Apple Pencil Pro to the iPad to make sure it doesn’t get knocked off and/or lost. We won’t get into the fact that for the combined price point of these items, that’s pretty crazy that Apple didn’t think about it during their product design, but instead, let’s focus on the awesome solution that this affordable little Spigen gizmo brings! First, here’s the specific products I’m using it with: - Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 11" (M2) - White - Apple Pencil Pro - White - Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M2) 256GB - Purple What I liked: - Easy to attach the holder to my case, and to put the pencil in/out of the holder. And as long as you’re intentional about how you position it, the pencil will connect with the iPad and charge, while secured with the holder. - Both the holder and the pencil are secure once placed together with the case and iPad. I can shake the case around, turn upside down, toss in my purse, etc. and they remain attached as intended. - It’s a good color match between the Apple products’ white color and the white of the holder, making it feel like a seamless part of the case visually. Less than perfection elements: - To be clear, this is a great product and overall I have zero complaints!! As far as a few tiny areas for optimization I thought it was worth noting the minor imperfections for fair comparison. - The actual mechanism to attach this holder relies on a thin metal piece that is able to interact with the existing magnets within the apple case to hold it in place. This also means that the magnetic charging strip down the side of the Apple Pencil is attracted to the metal plate, which can cause a little extra effort to make sure the pencil is oriented to connect to the charging strip on the iPad, versus the metal piece on the holder. - The holder is very secure when the iPad and case are sandwiched on either side of it, but in the event that you take the iPad off of the case, the holder isn’t able to stay in place in its intended position due to the fact that the main magnets to hold things in place are just slightly right and left of its metal plate. So in order to keep the holder with the case without an iPad, you have to scoot it to the right or left of center, which means that the pencil won’t automatically be in the correct position to charge when you put the iPad back on, and you have to remember to reposition it. It’s not a big deal, just something to make note of.

Needs adhesive and the flap removed. Better alternatives available
I purchased 5 different Apple Pencil holder for my Logitech Combo Touch 12.9 inch 5th/6th generation iPad Pro case. Since Logitech is too lazy to improve their product this is a necessity so you do not lose your Apple Pencil. I purchased: Spigen for Apple Pencil Pro Holder, 2nd Gen, Lenovo Yoga Pen, Galaxy S Pen, Compatible with Magic Keyboard, Smart Keyboard, Smart Folio, Remarkable 2 and Other Magnetic iPad Cases, White elago Metal Holder Compatible with Apple Pencil Series (USB-C, Pro, 2nd Generation), Compatible with Apple Magic Keyboard, Smart Keyboard Folio and Other Magnetic Cases for iPad Dracool for Apple Pencil Pro/Apple Pencil 2nd Generation Pencil Holder Compatible with Magic Keyboard, Smart Folio, and Other Magnetic Cases for iPad Pencil Case 6.53 inch - White MOFT Pencil Holder for Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil 2nd Generation, Compatible with Magic Keyboard, MOFT Dynamic Folio & Float Folio for iPad OFA Pencil Holder Case Compatible with Apple Pencil 1st/2nd/Pro, Functional, Foldable, Built-in Magnetics Cover Accessories, Apple iPad Pencil 2nd / Pro Wireless Charging, Charcoal Gray The OFA is slow to remove in and out, and must be placed back in just perfectly to allow charging while in the sleeve. The Dracool is the only one that comes with adhesive. However it is the most difficult to actually remove the pencil from. The flexible flap is not very flexible. The Spigen is a bit better as it has an open port, but it still difficult to grab the pencil from. This is because you cannot grasp the pencil immediately after pushing through the opening, because again there is the thin material on the front of the port. The Elago doesn’t have this problem as its has an open section, allowing you to remove the pencil with you index finger and grasp with your thumb. The MOFT is similar to the Elago, however its open section is easier to grasp from as it begins farther back on the product. Basically it has a deeper open section. All these products are VERY similar but to me, the MOFT wins. It’s easiest to get the pencil in and out from. The nicest build quality is the Elago. They all should come with adhesive like the Dracool one. While they are all magnetic to varying degrees (elago being most magnetic), it is not sufficient to prevent movement. A few were removable very easily, to the point they would slide out. I can’t remember exactly which ones right now. Anyway, figured I’d share.

This item is honestly a lifesaver.
The Samsung OEM keyboard case doesn’t include a pen holder, and as you know, if there’s no dedicated slot, you will eventually lose the pen or drop it and damage it. This holder fixes that problem perfectly. The back panel is thin enough to slide cleanly between the tablet and the case without adding bulk, and the pen holder itself is slightly longer than a Samsung pen — which actually makes it easier to grab the pen quickly. The fit feels secure, the design is practical, and overall it improves the usability of the tablet setup. I really love this item and hope it lasts a long time.
